The answer is that the Pro-Terrorist Obama would rather troll through American’s private communications of anti-administration foes to target, instead of targeting actual terrorists who plan of doing harm to the United States.

Out of 185,268 cellular phone intercepts, only 12 percent provided any incriminating evidence.

“We have a secret surveillance program churning in the background, sweeping in everyone’s communications,” – Mark Rumold of the Electronic Frontier Foundation

Federal authorities’ use of wiretaps to intercept wire, oral and electronic communications in criminal investigations jumped substantially in 2012, versus the prior year, according to figures obtained by the Washington Post.

Federal courts reportedly authorized a total of 1,354 wiretaps in 2012, up from 792 in 2011, a 71 percent increase in the use of the controversial surveillance method.

In total, 3,743 arrests were made due to incriminating evidence obtained by the wiretaps, 455 of which have so far resulted in convictions.

The Justice Department obtained a portfolio of information about a Fox News correspondent’s conversations and visits as part of an investigation into a possible leak, The Washington Post reported Monday — in the latest example of the government seizing records of journalists.

This follows the charge that the department secretly obtained two months of phone records from Associated Press journalists as part of a separate leak probe. The department in this case, though, went a step further, as an FBI agent reportedly claimed there’s evidence the journalist in question — Fox News’ James Rosen — broke the law “at the very least, either as an aider, abettor and/or co-conspirator.”

The White House is denying reports an adviser threatened famed Watergate journalist Bob Woodward after the Washington Post reporter challenged President Obama’s version of events on the looming sequester.

Woodward claimed Wednesday night that a White House aide sent him an email saying he would “regret” his comments. The aide was not identified, but an official familiar with the exchange told Fox News it was National Economic Council Director Gene Sperling. That was after Woodward wrote a column this past weekend claiming Obama was trying to re-write history — regarding not only whose idea the sequester was, but also how it would take effect.

In a move that goes against the laughable DNC Transparency claim, Obama and the Democrat Culture of Corruption will be keeping the list of convention donors secret and hidden from the public.

The host committee for the convention, known as Charlotte in 2012, had published on its Web site its policy that donors would be disclosed online “on an ongoing basis.” And the contract that city officials signed with Democratic Party officials specified that “all contributions, monetary or in-kind, shall be disclosed publicly . . . within an agreed upon regular timeframe on the host committee’s website.”

The committee removed that language from its Web site last week after an inquiry from The Washington Post.

Obama’s handpicked Consumer Product Safety Commission agency is trying to put a company out of business that sells toys for adults.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission attack on the manufacturer of Buckyballs is the first such attempt to stop sales by the agency in 11 years – and say that the toy is a danger to kids because a few kids have swallowed some of the magnetic metal balls that are part of the toy, which is designed for adults, and has extensive warnings on the packaging.

I think many more kids swallow coins than swallow Buckyballs, so will Obama’s Consumer Product Safety Commission agency try and ban coins as well?
With Obama’s active job killing policies, we wouldn’t be surprised.
