Fake Conservative Wussy John McCain Dings Robert Gates Book Release Timing

The weakest man in the senate, John McCain, says that former Defense Secretary Robert Gates should have waited until Obama was out of office before releasing his new book, Duty: Memoirs of a Secretary at War, which includes a lot of his personal feelings about Obama, and how, in his view, Obama was doing at his job as president.

Gates questions the passion for our military that a president should have, saying ‘In my presence, Bush — very unlike his father — was pretty unsentimental. But he was passionate about the war in Iraq; on occasion, at a Medal of Honor ceremony or the like, I would see his eyes well up. I worked for Obama longer than Bush, and I never saw his eyes well up.’

Gates is also very critical of Vice President Joe Biden, saying that Joe Biden has been “wrong on nearly every major foreign-policy and national-security issue over the past four decades”

“The Pussy of the Senate”, John McCain, says that Mr. Gates shouldn’t wait until after the war was over, but that he should have just waited “a little longer”. That’s some real great leadership there. Just wait a little longer.

Maybe if John McCain had the balls that former Defense Secretary Robert Gates has, he would be president right now, but instead we had a weak, fumbling, bumbling, fake conservative to vote for, which is the entire reason why he lost. THANK GOD!!

McCain needs to grow a pair and start being a real conservative, but we all know that will never happen.

Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) said Sunday that former Defense Secretary Robert Gates should have waited to release his tell-all memoir.

Gates’s memoir, Duty: Memoirs of a Secretary at War, takes aim at President Obama, saying that the president did not believe in the war strategy he was carrying out in Afghanistan.

Gates has also been criticized by some former Obama advisers, saying he shouldn’t have published the memoir, while Obama was still in office and the country at war in Afghanistan.

On CNN’s “State of the Union,” McCain said he would have waited longer before releasing the book, although he added that he didn’t think Gates should have waited until the war in Afghanistan was over.

“I think, frankly, I might have. If I was giving him advice, I would have waited,” McCain said.

“As far as waiting until it’s over in Afghanistan, I wouldn’t have done that. But maybe retrospect of a little longer than now,” he said.

McCain said he understood why Gates wanted to publish the book and said he respected “his ability to voice his views anytime he wants to.”

“He’s obviously very frustrated, which by the way surprised all of us that know him, and decided to really let loose,” McCain said.
