It may be just a coincidence, but many people feel that a conspiracy between Magic Johnson and Stiviano seems very plausible.

The sale of the Clippers to the Magic Johnson group could be a multi-billion dollar deal that definitely would never happen without the release of the racist audio recording, and could drive the price of the team down considerably.

I believe that there could be some merit to the conspiracy theory, and think there should be an investigation into the connection between Stiviano and Johnson.
