NFL Free Agent QB Troy Smith Busted for DWI & Pot – Tells Cop He Graduated “With a Degree In Bachelors”

NFL free agent quarterback Troy Smith was stopped by the police for not displaying the proper license plates on his car, and was busted for DWI.

Smith’s blood alcohol level was apparently at .143, which is well over the legal limit of .08, and the officers also apparently found a glass jar that contained two “rolled cigars containing marijuana” when they searched Smith’s car.

When stopped, Troy Smith seemed to be so wasted that he couldn’t say the alphabet, and told the officers that he graduated “with a degree in bachelors”, and greeted the officers by saying, “I’m officer, sir. I’m officer.”

Will there ever be a day when an NFL player isn’t busted for doing something illegal or criminal?
With the kind and amount of criminals that the NFL employs, we’re certainly not going to hold our breaths.

Former Ohio State Buckeye quarterback Troy Smith was arrested on suspicion of DUI early Sunday morning, and TMZ Sports has the dashcam video.

The 2006 Heisman winner introduced himself to the police officer by saying, “I’m officer, sir. I’m officer.”

Things did not get better for Smith when he told the officer that he “graduated from Ohio State with a degree in bachelors.”

He also struggled citing the alphabet from C to W, giving up after I.

Although the former quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers claimed he had not been drinking, his blood alcohol content was measured at .143, well over the legal limit of .08. Police also found a glass jar with two “rolled cigars containing marijuana,” per the TMZ report.

He was arrested for possession of marijuana, operating vehicle while impaired and failure to display a front license plate.
