Corrupt Democrats Push To Have All Deaths Labeled As Coronavirus Deaths – Even When Not Related
This need by the democrats for more American Coronavirus deaths has prompted a push by democrats for all hospitals to label the deaths in America as being caused by the Chinese COVID-19 Coronavirus – made in Wuhan China – even when the patient died of some other cause!
So, if a 98 year old man with a bad heart came into the emergency room, and then died of pneumonia, the hospital would count the death as one caused by the Chinese virus. That is wrong!
There is also apparent evidence that hospitals are also putting patients on ventilators in order to jack up their bill sent to Medicare.
“Right now Medicare is determining that if you have a COVID-19 admission to the hospital you get $13,000. If that COVID-19 patient goes on a ventilator you get $39,000, three times as much. Nobody can tell me after 35 years in the world of medicine that sometimes those kinds of things impact on what we do.” – Senator Dr. Scott Jensen
Dr. Scott Jensen, a Minnesota physician and Republican state senator said he received a 7-page document coaching him to fill out death certificates with a COVID-19 diagnosis without a lab test to confirm the patient actually had the virus.
“Last Friday I received a 7-page document that told me if I had an 86-year-old patient that had pneumonia but was never tested for COVID-19 but some time after she came down with pneumonia we learned that she had been exposed to her son who had no symptoms but later on was identified with COVID-19, then it would be appropriate to diagnose on the death certificate COVID-19,” Dr. Scott Jensen said.
Dr. Jensen explained that this is not a normal procedure.
Dr.. Jensen said for example if the same patient had pneumonia during flu season and he didn’t have a test confirming the patient also had influenza, he would never diagnose the patient with influenza on the death certificate.
