It’s no wonder why Wendy Davis felt the need to steal an image of actual College Republicans of Virginia to promote herself, as though the group of teenagers actually voted for Davis, which they definitely did not.

No wonder why Wendy Davis didn’t want to use an image of college Democrats – they’re all dirty stoners.

Most Democrats are FUGLY, so of course you’re not going to use people in the Democrat party, and then have to say “Look at these disgusting liberals who voted for me.” It just wouldn’t work, but wouldn’t SOMEONE in the Wendy Davis camp tell her that this is just not a god idea, and that the people in the original tweet where the image was stolen from might just see themselves in the fake Wendy Davis tweet and say something?

Fucking stupid, no matter how you look at them.

Wendy Davis (D-TX) was supposed to be the golden child candidate who would reclaim the Lone Star State for the new age of Democratic Party rule for decades to come. Turn Texas Blue was the rallying cry of her campaign and she raised millions of dollars from Hollywood, New York and DC to that end.

Now, ten days before the election, it’s clear to most voters (even Democrats) that Ms. Davis may have been a less-than-perfect choice for the Sisyphean task. Her latest blunder is not quite as serious as mocking her opponent’s disability but it shows the continued level of amateurism within the state senator’s operation that was an early topic of discussion in the much-heralded campaign.

Wednesday, the official Twitter account for Ms. Davis Tweeted a picture of college students and thanked them for their support:

As one can imagine, the mockery was almost instantaneous:

As Twitchy points out, now is a good time to reflect on the brilliant and insightful analysis of Wendy Davis when her only claim to fame was standing up and speaking in favor of unlimited and unregulated abortion on demand. Back in those good old days, some of the most intelligent and enlightened of the progressive media saw her for the impressive super star she truly was:
