Pinkel lied and said that he is resigning his position due to “health issues”, and also said that he made the decision in May, but we all know that old and tired excuse is complete bullshit! Same as we see all the time in politics. When someone powerful is forced to leave, they ALWAYS blame health or family, and Pinkel is claiming both just to be safe.

The REAL reason why Gary Pinkel is leaving Mizzou is because Coach Pinkel fucked himself, the football team, the University of Missouri Columbia, the State of Missouri, thousands of Mizzou students, and countless other schools around the nation, with his nutless & idiotic coddling of his racist football team.

Great job Mr Pinkie! You helped cause some of the worst reverse racism we have ever seen, and now he wants to pull his tail between his legs and drop the racist mess he and his football team caused into someone else’s lap.

Mizzou head coach Gary Pinkel will resign at the end of the 2015 football season due to health issues, the university announced.

Pinkel was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in May and received treatments in May and June. Doctors told Pinkel treatments would not interfere with coaching, the school said.

Through the school, Pinkel released the following statement, saying in part:

“I made the decision in May, after visiting with my family, that I wanted to keep coaching, as long as I felt good and had the energy I needed,” Pinkel said. “I felt great going into the season, but also knew that I would need to re-assess things at some point, and I set our bye week as the time when I would take stock of the future. After we played Vanderbilt (Oct. 24), I had a scheduled PET scan on Oct. 26th for reassessment, and then visited with my family and came to the decision on October 27th that this would be my last year coaching. I still feel good physically, but I decided that I want to focus on enjoying my remaining years with my family and friends, and also have proper time to battle the disease and give full attention to that.”

Pinkel will resign as the winningest coach in Missouri history. He became head coach in 2001 and turned around a program that had suffered through two decades of futility. In 2007 and 2013, he got the Tigers one win away from the national championship game.
