The perennial disappointment of the St Louis Blues continues after the Chicago Blackhawks take the final four games of the first round of the 2014 Stanley Cup Playoffs, after the Blues jumped out to a 2-0 lead.
Once again, the St Louis Blues have turned a great season into an embarrassing loser, and one that will most likely end up decreasing their fan base by a large margin.
Mostly due to one stupid decision – trading Jaroslav Halák for Ryan Miller.
The St Louis Blues traded their goalie Jaroslav Halák, whose great goaltending had the team in 1st place for most of the season, for goalie Ryan Miller, who was supposed to be an upgrade from Halák, but ended up being a definite downgrade, and most of the reason why the Blues squandered a 2-0 lead in the series.
Why would you change team dynamics just before the playoffs, and trade a hot goalie who I believe had beaten the Blackawks 4 times …
