This newly-released preliminary autopsy report of where Michael Brown was hit with the 6 bullets seems to match up with the officer’s report that Michael Brown kept coming at him, and would not stop even though he was being shot. It also matches the eyewitness report that was caught on video, and we feature in a previous post.
Trayvon Martin lawyer, Benjamin L. Crump, lies when he talks about how Mr. Brown and his bullet wounds, saying that the bullet wounds were “scattered all over his body”, which is completely untrue.
“The sheer number of bullets and the way they were scattered all over his body showed this police officer had a brazen disregard for the very people he was supposed to protect in that community” – Benjamin L. Crump
Michael Brown was ultimately shot 6 times. Four times in the right arm, and twice in the head. All of the bullets were fired into the front of Mr. Brown, and no shots hit him from the back, as some in the protests and media have been repeating.
The shots fired at Michael Brown were probably initially aimed into the non-lethal area of the arm, where 4 of the 6 shots hit Mr. Brown, but the shots probably moved up towards Mr. Brown’s head as he got closer to the officer, until two of the gunshots hit Mr. Brown in the head, killing him.
Dr. Michael Baden, the doctor who performed the autopsy, said in an news conference that Mr. Brown had a scrape on the right side of his face, which indicates that Mr. Brown was moving forward at the time that he was fatally shot. If he was shot while standing still and fell straight down and hit his face, there may be a bruise or cut, and maybe even some stippling, but there would not be an actual scraping effect.
The officer thought that Michael Brown was probably on some kind of drug, which was the reason why Mr. Brown kept coming at the officer, even while being shot multiple times. The autopsy report may also say that Brown apparently had marijuana in his system when he was shot and killed in Ferguson on Aug. 9th.
If there is gunshot residue in the police car, I would have to say that the officers story about the struggle over the officer’s weapon would be 100% believable.
