If someone inflicted with Gender Dysphoria can just up and decide one day that they are now the opposite sex, and from that minute forward everyone has to acknowledge you as that opposite sex, then why the fuck are people forced into court to get the permission of some bureaucrat asshole to only change their name?

IF ONE CAN CHANGE SEX ON A WHIM WHY DOES IT REQUIRE COURT PERMISSION TO CHANGE YOUR NAME?
