The county of L.A. and the city of L.A. had suspended brush removal, and had failed to refill water reservoirs for over 5 years, which is the reason for the change to insurance coverage.

Misuse of public funds, leading to the complete disregard for forestry management in California, is the reason why State Farm, and other insurance companies, cancelled fire insurance coverage for some people. If the Communist idiots running California would have done what they were supposed to do by cleaning-up the underbrush and keeping their water reservoirs full, the insurance companies wouldn’t have exited the market.
