Mike Wiener has announced four impeachment charges against Walz, accusing him of ignoring / benefiting from many $ billions in fraud, ignoring warnings, covering it up, and failing to protect programs like child care, Medicaid, and nutrition aid.

The representatives claim that Tim Walz knowingly permitted or concealed widespread fraud across the state, interfered with oversight and corrective action relating to said fraud, placed “political consideration above lawful administration,” and failed in his constitutional duties. Republicans have stressed that “all options are on the table” should Walz decline to resign.
