Watch Tucker Carlson question OpenAI CEO Sam Altman about the very suspicious circumstances surrounding dead OpenAI programmer Balaji’s death, whose death was initially deemed a “suicide”, even though, as Tucker pointed out, there were signs of a struggle, cut surveillance wires, and blood in multiple rooms, which Carlson argues are inconsistent with suicide.
Tucker getting wild man. Kinda hilarious how he plays stupid and is basically like, "so… you killed him?" pic.twitter.com/Jn61YCUUp0

OpenAI employee Suchir Balaji had apparently publicly criticized OpenAI for potentially violating copyright laws in the training of the company’s AI technology, and was found dead soon after. Many people, including Elon Musk, believe that Suchir Balaji was murdered.

Carlson: “So, you’ve had complaints from one programmer who said you guys are basically stealing people’s stuff, and not paying them, and then he wound up murdered. What was that?”
Altman: “Also a great tragedy. Uh.. he committed suicide.”
Carlson: “Do you think he committed suicide?”
Altman: “I really do. This was like a friend of mine. This was like a guy.. not a close friend.. but this is someone who worked at OpenAI for a very long time. I spent.. I mean I was really shaken by this.. tragedy. I spent a lot of time trying to.. you know, read everything I could, as I’m sure you and others did too about what happened. Um.. It looks like a suicide to me.”
Carlson: “Why does it look like a suicide?”
Altman: “It was a gun he had purchased. It was the .. this is like gruesome to talk about.. but I read the whole medical record. Does it not look like a suicide to you?.”
Carlson: “No, he was definitely murdered.. I think. Um.. there was signs of a struggle, of course, the surveillance camera.. the wires had been cut. He had just orderd takeout food.. come back from a vacation with his friends on Catalina Island.. No indication at all that he was suicidal. No note, and no begavior. He had just spoken with a family member on the phone, and then he’s found dead, with blood in multiple rooms, so that’s impossible. Seems really obvious he was murdered. Have you talked to the authorities about it?”
Altman: “I have not talked to the authorities about it.”
I find it interesting that while Tucker Carlson was basically accusing Sam Altman of having Balaji murdered, Altman doesn’t really seem to deny the accusations.
Personally, after what I have read and watched, I also think that OpenAI employee Suchir Balaji did not kill himself, but was murdered.
