Yet another one of Obama’s pet Green Energy companies (Solar Trust) has gone belly-up, and filed for bankruptcy, less than a year after receiving $2.1 billion in government-backed loan guarantees! In reality, that means that an already failing company was handed $2.1 billion in free money, with no plan or hope by the Obama administration of getting re-paid, other than now having a group of people who owe Obama big time!

Obama Admin Wanted to Bailout Solyndra Friends Just Before Bankruptcy

The Obama administration considered a government bailout for their friends at Solyndra, just days before the failed solar company filed for bankruptcy, and well after the Obama administration knew the company was in an unrecoverable tailspin.

That’s the Obama administration in a nutshell. They knew that they had just wasted a half billion dollars of taxpayer money, and instead of cutting their losses, and coming clean, instead they want to throw more of our money down the toilet and to their friends and supporters.

Why the American People are continuing to put up with Obama’s complete corruption, and lack of any usable knowledge or experience to help us get out of the unbelievable economic disaster his party and administration have caused.

Days before a solar panel maker collapsed, the Obama administration considered a bailout that would have provided an infusion of cash and made the federal government a part-owner of the company.

The Soylndra Solar Panel green-jobs scandal gets worse for the Obama administration everyday, and we are now learning of a new figure central to the Obama scandal which gave his friends and supporters over $500 billion of taxpayer money, just before going bankrupt.

David Prend is an Obama adviser, who pushed hard for the $500 million federal loan guarantee, even though Rockport Capital, Mr. Prend’s company, stood to greatly benefit from the loan because Rockport Capital was an investor and partial owner of Solyndra.

These “Green Jobs Scandals” go all the way to the top of the Obama administration, and they are currently doing their best to mitigate the damages by covering up their roles in the scandals. We will probably never see the evidence showing how up the ladder high these scandals go, but we all know it stops on Obama’s doorstep.

Government Paid $600 Million In Benefits To Dead People

This wasted $600 million of taxpayer money, being paid out to people who are no longer alive, is just a tiny drop in the overflowing sea of typical government corruption and waste.

It’s not their money, so none of the inept jackasses in our government care enough to stop the waste and crime, which some of them may have personally benefitted from.

The federal government has doled out more than $600 million in benefit payments to dead people over the past five years, a watchdog report says.

Such payments are meant for retired or disabled federal workers, but sometimes the checks keep going out even after the former employees pass away and the deaths are not reported, according to the report this week from the Office of Personnel Management’s inspector general, Patrick McFarland.

In one case, the son of a beneficiary continued receiving payments for 37 years after his father’s death in 1971. The payments – totaling more than $515,000 – were only discovered when the son died in 2008.

Solyndra, Major Obama Donor, Declares Bankruptcy After Receiving $535 Million Federal Loan

So let’s get this straight. This is different than the very similar story of Evergreen Solar Inc, which also received millions of dollars from the Obama administration, before going bankrupt.

The Obama administration guaranteed a another failing company, Solyndra solar panel company, $535 million government backed loan, which seems more like a reward for the donations Steve Westley gave to the Obama campaign. The company then declares bankruptcy, lays off 1,100 employees, and bilks the U.S. People out of a half a billion dollars of taxpayer money. Then Obama goes off the deep end and names the donor, Steve Westley, to the President’s Energy Advisory Board.

This stinks like more corruption of the worst kind from the Obama administration.

Solyndra, a San Francisco based solar panel company that received a $535 million loan guarantee from the federal government has declared bankruptcy. Last year President Obama touted the company as “leading the way” in the green jobs future he envisions.
