New York hotels, like the DoubleTree Hilton on Lexington Avenue in midtown Manhattan, are in the process of kicking out homeless hurricane victims to make room for NY Marathon runners.

A desk clerk at the NY DoubleTree Hilton tried explaining the situation by saying “Those marathon rooms were booked months ago”, like that makes what they are doing any better.

The stench of the corrupt Obama administration’s is all over this story, and is filling the NY DoubleTree Hilton, and other hotels that are further victimizing the people already traumatized by Hurricane Sandy.

Why would Obama push to keep the NY Marathon on schedule? So the media will cover the marathon and not Obama’s tanking in the polls, and the Benghazi-Gate scandal and cover-up, which may end up turning the election into a landslide for Romney.

New York City hotels are struggling with space shortages as runners traveling into town for this weekend’s marathon compete for lodging with locals renting rooms after their homes were damaged by Atlantic storm

The Chinese People’s Daily Newspaper has hit back at the New York Times in retaliation for a piece in the Times that accuses the family of Chinese prime minister Wen Jiabao of keeping a “hidden fortune” worth about $2.7 billion.

In it’s response, The People’s Daily accuses the New York Times of “faking” and “distorting” news, and of being a “propaganda tool” for the Obama administration. All of which we know are 100% true.

It’s funny though how a country 8,000 miles away has a better sense of the role of the New York Times than most oblivious jack-holes here in the US.

The mouthpiece newspaper of China’s Communist Party has launched a blistering attack on The New York Times, accusing it of “faking” and “distorting” news and being a government “propaganda tool”.

When Obama took office in January of 2009, gas was only $1.84 a gallon, and since his inauguration Obama’s energy policies have badly damaged Americas ability to provide more domestically produced energy, and have made us much more dependent on foreign energy suppliers.

Obama actually stated that he waned gas prices to go up, so that Americans would be forced to use less gas, but would have liked the price to go up more gradually, so high gas prices were the Obama administration’s plan from the start.

Gas prices shot up nearly 13 cents in some areas overnight Saturday, fueled by what’s being called “a perfect storm of factors” that drove inventories across California to near-record lows.

The average price for a gallon of regular gasoline in L.A. County was $4.66, up from $4.58 on Friday.
