Brainless Gov Christie Screws New Jersey Consumers – Does Car Dealer Dirty Work Banning Direct Sales

So I guess in New Jersey businesses have no right to sell directly to their customers anymore.

Chris Christie has wussed-out once again, and caved in to the pressures of car dealers who were angry that Tesla isn’t following the traditional method of using Dealerships as middle-men, driving up costs of all new and used cars purchased from the dealers.

With the new rule change, Chris Christie has assured the middle men that they will get “their money” from Tesla sales, and has also assured that all new Teslas sold in New Jersey will be way overpriced.

If I was Tesla CEO Elon Musk, I would close all sales in New Jersey, and move to a neighboring state that is more business and consumer friendly. I would bet anything that the same people who would have purchased the Tesla in New Jersey would travel to the next state to pick up their new car.
