Government Paid $600 Million In Benefits To Dead People

This wasted $600 million of taxpayer money, being paid out to people who are no longer alive, is just a tiny drop in the overflowing sea of typical government corruption and waste.

It’s not their money, so none of the inept jackasses in our government care enough to stop the waste and crime, which some of them may have personally benefitted from.

The federal government has doled out more than $600 million in benefit payments to dead people over the past five years, a watchdog report says.

Such payments are meant for retired or disabled federal workers, but sometimes the checks keep going out even after the former employees pass away and the deaths are not reported, according to the report this week from the Office of Personnel Management’s inspector general, Patrick McFarland.

In one case, the son of a beneficiary continued receiving payments for 37 years after his father’s death in 1971. The payments – totaling more than $515,000 – were only discovered when the son died in 2008.

Electronic Sign Echos Feelings of U.S. – Impeach Obama

IMPEACH OBAMA!!! Hilarious! The majority of the country would probably want to have Obama impeached for his socialist, job-killing, terrorist-friendly, fuel price-increasing, policies, not to mention the tidal wave of government takeovers Obama and the Culture of Corruption Democrats have orchestrated, but now even the electronic signs are revolting against this Socialist regime!

An electronic DOT road sign was apparently hacked when a displayed message read “Impeach Obama.”

DOT officials told WSOC they had not heard of the display when first contacted on Sunday night, but sent an engineer to correct the sign afterward.

The sign, which was located at the intersection of Unionville-Indian Trail and Ridge roads in Union County, was displayed for an unknown amount of time over the weekend and corrected later Sunday evening.

Several drivers stopped to take pictures of the message.

DOJ Probe Needed: Obama’s Illegal WH Fundraising Videos

A Department of Justice probe needs to be conducted into the latest crimes by the Obama administration.

Most of the corrupt, Obama-swooning media will not report on Obama’s illegal fundraising videos produced inside the White House, which were expressly against the law, because they have a vested interest in seeing this “president” get re-elected.

Here are some proposed changes that we, as a country, need to make in order to make sure that Congress works for us, instead of us working for them, as it is now.

1. No Tenure / No Pension.
A Congressman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they are out of office.

2. Congress (past, present & future) participates in Social Security.
All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system, and Congress participates with the American people. It may not be used for any other purpose.

3. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan, just as all Americans do.

4. Congress will no longer vote for their own pay raises.
Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.

5. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as the American people.

6. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people.

Obama’s Anti-Recovery White House Against Spending Cuts

Obama and the other idiots on the left do not really want to fix our economy, balance the budget, fix the housing market, or lower gas prices. They don’t want to cut the spending of the government, or actually fix the problems we’re currently faced with. In fact, they want just the opposite. Obama wants nothing more than to keep the size of our government exploding, while making sure that as many people as possible are dependent on the government, which will in turn keep our nation’s economy in a tailspin.

Now Obama says that he will veto the new GOP legislation designed to “cut, cap and balance” spending and the budget.

New Controversial California Law Requires LGBT History in Textbooks

I don’t remember anyone ever stating the sexual preferences of the historical people we learned about in school. Anyone in our textbooks could have been straight, gay, lesbian or transgender, but it was not an issue. We learned about what they did that made them someone we should learn about, which did not include sexual topics.

They use the excuse that teaching about gay and lesbian achievements will help combat bullying, but in reality it seems to be more of an attempt by the Gay rights people to brainwash kids by pushing their gay and lesbian beliefs on children at an innocent and impressionable age, nothing more.

If I lived in California (thank God I don’t!!!!) I would be either moving, or enrolling my kids into private school, so we the parents can decide what types of things our kids should be subjected to, which will not include teaching gay and lesbian achievements
