Democrat Gov. Beverly Perdue Calls For Suspension of Elections for 2 Years – Claims It Was Joke

North Carolina Gov. Beverly Perdue said, in a speech at a local Rotary Club, that she thinks Congress should suspend elections for two years so lawmakers can work on stimulating the economy without the “partisan bickering”.

After she started catching all kinds of heat for the comment, her office came out with the lie that Gov. Perdue was just joking about suspending elections, but we can all see through their cover-up.

“If it was a joke, what was the set-up? What was the punch-line? Where was the pause for laughter? It took them three hours to say it was a ‘joke,’ but when that flopped it became ‘hyperbole.’ We’ll just call it an unconstitutionally bad idea.”

Republicans rebuked North Carolina Gov. Beverly Perdue after she suggested Congress suspend elections for two years so lawmakers can get to work stimulating the economy unencumbered by anxiety about what voters think.

The governor’s office has since claimed the remark was “hyperbole.” But the North Carolina GOP isn’t buying it.

MSNBC Plays Race Card Against AP For Accurate Transcription of Obama’s Speech

So, Obama can speak in Ebonics, but nobody is allowed to transcribe the actual words Obama speaks, without being called a racist..

If it was not considered racist to speak the way that Obama spoke in his speech to the Black Caucus, then not editing Obama’s spoken words to include the G’s at the end of his words cannot be racist either. If the AP removed the G’s from Obama’s words on their own, then I’d say that a charge of racism may be a little more warranted, but the AP accurately transcribed Obama’s actual words.

I think the real issue is that the Democrats don’t like that Obama sounds like a total idiot when he tries to speak like he is one of the middle class people he is speaking to. Normally, the corrupt Obama-Swooning Media covers for Obama, and would have re-written his speech Ebonics with real words, and Obama and the Democrats are shocked that someone in the media (other than FOX) would not white-wash the details of Obama’s speech to save him from additional embarrassment.

Democrats Lose 88-Year Run on NY-9 Seat – First Republican Win In NY District Since 1923!!

The Democrats took another damaging blow after losing the special election for the 9th Congressional District held in the New York district formerly held by disgraced “Weiner-Boy”, Anthony Weiner, who held the seat for 7 years himself. Republican Bob Turner was declared the winner of the special election for the 9th Congressional District after gaining 54 percent of the vote, against the 46 percent for Turner’s challenger David Weprin.

The mouthpieces on the left started building up the Democrat lies and spin even before the special election results were made public. Obama’s Failed “Stimulus” Didn’t Create Jobs – Only Stole Jobs From Other Companies

We can now see that the Obama administration and Democrats have been lying about Obama’s wealth-spreading “Stimulus” creating jobs, when in reality, Obama’s failed job-killing, wealth-spreading “stimulus” didn’t actually create jobs for the unemployed. The “stimulus” only stole workers from other companies where they were already employed.

The Mercatus Center at George Mason University has just released an important new study on the hiring practices of firms that used stimulus funds. It’s fairly comprehensive, based on over 1,300 surveys of managers and employees. There’s been very little good empirical data on the stimulus thus far, so the study contains a lot of valuable insights. Among the findings by authors Dan Rothschild and Garrett Jones:

Hiring isn’t the same as net job creation. In our survey, just 42.1 percent of the workers hired at ARRA-receiving organizations after January 31, 2009, were unemployed at the time they were hired (Appendix C). OBAMACARE SOCIALIZED HEALTHCARE RULED UNCONSTITUTIONAL!!

A U.S. appeals court for the 11th Circuit ruled today that Obama’s Socialized Healthcare law, (now re-branded by the corrupt Democrats as the “Affordable Care Act” to try and trick people into thinking it’s not the same thing as Obamacare) which forces people to purchase a service against their will, or else face a penalty, was unconstitutional.

Obama and the corrupt, brain-dead, socialists that run the Democrat party have not given up, and again said that “Today’s ruling is one of many decisions on the Affordable Care Act that we will see in the weeks and months ahead. Washington D.C. Among Top Alcohol, Marijuana, And Cocaine Abusers

We could have told you this for free, but a new study conducted by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration has found that adults who live in Washington DC more likely to be alcohol, marijuana, and cocaine abusers, and that 11.3 percent of residents, age 12 and up, have a dependence to alcohol and drugs.

Obama has even admitted smoking pot and snorting cocaine. No wonder why we are having the problems we have seen lately in Washington. They are all high as a kite on one thing or another.

A new report says that adults in Washington D.C. abuse alcohol more than anyone else in the country.

According to a new study by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), 8.1 percent of adults age 26 or older in D.C. are alcohol dependent. Looking at a long-term sampling, alcohol abuse rate is on the rise for the District, according to the survey.
