FBI Raids Offices, Home, Hotel of Democrat Queens Assemblyman Bill Scarborough In Corruption Probe

Another day, another Democrat caught up in in a criminal investigation. Democrats must be pretty embarrassed and scared for the next election!

The offices of Queens Democrat Assemblyman, Bill Scarborough, were raided by the FBI in a sting designed dig into Scarborough’s reimbursed expenses, which reports show may have been abused by the Democrat Assemblyman.

Lawmakers receive a set $172 daily payment to cover meals and lodging for every day they spend in Albany — and an honor system governs the process to determine how many days are involved. They are also entitled to be reimbursed for mileage, parking, tolls and car rentals.

Scarborough so far this year has put in for $10,350 in total expenses, according to state Controller Thomas DiNapoli’s’s office.

In 2013, Scarborough’s reimbursed expenses totaled $28,438, and in 2012 they came to $33,986.

The FBI raided Democrat Bill Scarborough’s home in Queens, his district office, his Albany office, his Albany hotel room, took his records and his smartphone, and carted away boxes …
