Spineless Liberals Can’t Say “War” So Obama’s New War is Now Called “Major Long-Term Counterterrorism Operations”
Secretary of State John Kerry says that it’s wrong to call it a “war” and says that it is really just “major long-term counterterrorism operations”. What brainless turds!
After pulling all of our troops out of Iraq and most out of Afghanistan, allowing ISIS terrorists train, grow, and get stronger and larger without fear of being stopped, beheading people across the Middle East, Nobel Peace Prize-winning joke Obama is now forced to come out in front of the American People in a prime-time speech and tell us that he is going back to war.
Obama says that we will “destroy ISIS” and make sure they are “vanquished from the Earth”, but doesn’t have the nuts to call it what it really is. OBAMA’S WAR.
Destroying, and vanquishing ISIS from the Earth sounds like war to me, even if Obama and the Democrats are too weak and timid to say so.
I wonder how much additional money, on top of the $7-10 trillion Obama has already added to the nation’s debt, is being wasted by team no-nuts Obama by pulling everyone out from the Middle East, and now having to ramp right back up for more war in the areas we just left? $billions wasted!
Secretary of State John Kerry says President Obama’s vow to “destroy ISIS” through airstrikes, bombing and support for a coalition of ground forces is not a war.
Speaking in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, after attempting to rally support for the war that’s not a war, Kerry told CBS News that he prefers to use the President’s go-to euphemism “long-term counterterrorism operation” rather than war because using the word “war” will just stir up “war fever”:
“We’re engaged in a major counterterrorism operation, and it’s going to be a long-term counterterrorism operation. I think war is the wrong terminology and analogy but the fact is that we are engaged in a very significant global effort to curb terrorist activity. I don’t think people need to get into war fever on this. “
For the record, Secretary Kerry served for a few months in the United States Navy in the Vietnam Police Action.
