Beto “Blatto” O’Rourke is the Democrat Senate candidate in Texas who has been arrested multiple times – (DWI & Attempted Burglary) – and should never be trusted in a position of holding government power.
Blatto O’Rourke was arrested for attempted burglary” in 1995, and arrested again in 1998 after a drunk driving accident on Interstate 10, north of El Paso, which a witness described as happening at “a high rate of speed”. Witnesses noted in the DWI arrest police report that O’Rourke apparently tried to leave the scene of the accident to avoid being held accountable for his actions, and had to be prevented from driving off.
“He lost control of his Volvo while driving at a high rate of speed, and hit a truck, sending his car across the center median into oncoming lanes, where it came to a rest.”
Blatto O’Rourke is actually pretty fucking lucky that the witness/bystander stopped him from leaving before the police arrived at the scene of his DWI accident.
If the witness/bystander hand’t stopped Blatto O’Rourke from driving off and fleeing the scene of the accident, it would have been a more serious charge of “Hit and Run”, on top of the drunk driving, accident, and fleeing the scene.
But now Blatto O’Rourke is running for office and trying to deny that he attempted to flee the scene of his drunk driving accident, though the Police Report from that long ago says that Beto O’Rourke did in fact try to leave the scene of the accident.
I would tend to believe a 1998 police report over the word of a dangerous drunk-driving politician, who is probably just trying to hide his despicable actions from the Texas voters.
Texas Democratic Senate candidate Beto O’Rourke pinned himself in a corner during Friday night’s debate with Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) after he claimed that he did not try to flee the scene of a drunk driving crash that he caused in 1998 — despite the fact that a police report from the incident states he did try to flee the scene.
“Representative O’Rourke, you have addressed your 1998 DWI arrest numerous times during your public career, but not this question,” the moderator said. “As the Houston Chronicle pointed out recently, a witness said in that accident that you tried to leave the scene of the accident.”
“Did you?” the moderator asked. “And should voters be concerned about this incident?”
“I did not try to leave the scene of the accident,” O’Rourke responded. “Though driving drunk, which I did, is a terrible mistake for which there is no excuse, or justification, or defense, and I will not try to provide one.”
O’Rourke’s claim directly contradicts the police report from the incident which stated that a reporter witnessed O’Rourke attempting to flee the scene and he had to stop him from leaving.
Does Blatto O’Rourke also deny that he was arrested for attempted burglary in 1995 – because there is a police report about that also.
