A couple of the Houston Astros’ cheaters apparently apologized for their team’s cheating “in 2017” but haven’t admitted to their cheating in 2018 or 2019, and are still lying about the use of electronic devices in the Astros Sign Stealing Scandal. They are basically still denying their 2018 cheating.

One of the worst cheaters, apparently, Jose Altuve, says “the whole Astros organization and the team feels bad about what happened in 2017.” but that’s complete crap. The Astros feel bad that they got caught. If they really did feel bad they would come clean about every aspect of their cheating for years, and then take the punishment that they deserve.

Astros owner Jim Crane says that the cheating will never happen again on his watch, but that’s bullshit. He doesn’t know what his team is doing behind the scenes to cheat, and I’m sure the Astros aren’t going to stop cheating. They’ll just get better at not getting caught.

Why shouldn’t the players, who were the ones who actually enacted the cheating regimen, be punished for whay they did?
