There are not many reasons why a grown man would fall asleep while behind the wheel, in the middle of the day, but I would bet that the #1 & #2 reasons for someone passed out at a stop light are: being drunk or being under the influence of drugs.

The Seminole Police only spoke with Beacham for LESS THAT 2 MINUTES – never pulled him out of his vehicle – never tried to determine if Capt. Kip Beacham was on drugs or alcohol, never even asked never asked about drugs or alcohol as they absolutely would have done all of the above if it were you, me, or anyone else passed-out behind the wheel, without a badge.

No, the Seminole Police gave groggy, passed-out Beacham a fist bump, assured him that he was not in any trouble, and told to leave the scene – adding in that “this didn’t happen”, probably because it won’t be reported.
