Wow! New York has become a shithole again under the democrat’s destructive “leadership”, if you can call it that. The NY Police apparently have a special unit called the “Special Response Group” whose job it is to respond to protests, and from what NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch says, responding to protests is all they do “day and day out, for the last several years”.

“At the NYPD we have a unit called the Strategic Response Group. That unit, basically what they do, day in and day out for the past several years, is police protests. They are expert in it.” – NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch

I think a few underperforming grade school kids would be better at running NY than the democrats will ever be!
