Mr. Slay needs to pay attention to the rest of the country, and take notice that most other states are rejecting the dangerous situation that we encounter after relocating thousands of unvetted foreigners into an already damaged community.

St. Louis’ mayor says accepting any of the 10,000 Syrian refugees President Barack Obama has announced the U.S. will accept in the coming budget year “is the right thing to do.”
But Mayor Francis Slay says it’s unclear how many of those displaced will be St. Louis-bound, or when.
About 17,000 Syrians have been referred in recent years to the U.S. for resettlement by the U.N. refugee agency. About 1,500 are in the U.S., with another 300 scheduled to be allowed in this month.
The State Department says that leaves about 15,000 Syrians waiting for the clearance process to conclude, and Obama would like to admit 10,000 of those.
This year, 28 Syrian refugees have come to St. Louis, and 20 more are expected by the end of the year.
