How big of money grubbing s do you have to be to basically steal money from your thirsty fans on a 86 degree day.

The Patriots conveniently ran out of bottled water and also didn’t have water cups available for their fans, so any thirsty fans who needed water were forced to purchase a larger cup of Boston tap water for the same out-of-control prices they charge for everything else.

I wonder how many of those fans will return to a New England Patriots football game after basically being ripped off by the stadium concession workers and the New England Patriots team?

I’d like to know if the cup itself was what pushed the price of the Gillette Stadium tap water up to the exorbitant price of $4.50, or was that the cost of the ice?

I know I wouldn’t be back, and won’t be back because the NFL is a corrupt organization consisting of criminals who will do anything for money.

The New England Patriots found themselves in hot water this Sunday after fans complained that they were asked to pay $4.50 for tap water at Gillette Stadium.

Workers at Gillette Stadium had prepared for hot September day — temperatures hit 86 degrees in Foxborough — by doubling their inventory of water bottles. However, the demand far exceeded what they were able to hold in their concession stands and was almost four times the inventory they would have had for an average game.

As different concession stands ran out of water bottles throughout the course of the day, fans asked for cups of tap water instead. Gillette concession stands don’t have the smaller complimentary water cups you may find at other restaurants, so concessionaires resorted to selling tap water in soda cups for $4.50.
