MLB Needs To Ban The Astros & Red Sox Cheaters For Life – Cheating Much Worse Than Pete Rose Betting!

The people responsible for this unbelievably wrong cheating needs to be banned from the MLB for life. The infractions are much worse than what Pete Rose was banned for, and the punishment for cheating that decided multiple MLB World Series should be worse than what Rose got. Unfortunately, Pete Rose was banned for life for betting on his team to win, so there is no harsher punishment available, so the same will work.

MLB Needs To Ban The Astros & Red Sox Cheaters For Life – Cheating Much Worse Than Pete Rose Betting!

The Boston Red Sox – apparently top to bottom – have been cheaters for years, and will do anything to win – ANYTHING.

ALL of the Houston Astros players were obviously in on it also because they all used the help from their team’s cheating, and didn’t say anything, but used the cheating to steal a World Series.

Red Sox pitcher Jon Lester was even busted on video with green goop inside his glove that he kept rubbing his fingers on during game 1 of the 2013 World Series against the St Louis Cardinals, though he got away with it because the Cardinals manager Tony La Russa didn’t make a big deal out of it. The Boston Red Sox ended up winning that series – probably due to the Red Sox successful cheating.

Fines are suspensions aren’t going to do shit to stop the cheating, so cheating in baseball is going to continue being a problem, and will continue being swept under the rug, until Major League Baseball puts their foot down, and kicks the cheaters out of the league for good.

What about all of the records that are tainted from the cheating, and what about all of the pitchers that got hit at a higher rate than normal and probably lost money due to the Astros / Red Sox cheating? At the very least there will forever be asterisks beside the tainted wins for some of these cheater clubs, like the Houston Astros and Boston Red Sox, and Houston’s 2017 World Series championship should be forfeited.

Major League Baseball seemed to catch the sports world off-guard on Monday, when they handed down a historic punishment to the Houston Astros as a result of a sign-stealing scheme the team ran during 2017.

Included in the long list of punishments was a $5 million fine, the maximum allowable fine under the MLB constitution. The Astros also had their first and second round picks taken away in both 2020 and 2021. In addition, General Manager Jeff Luhnow and manager A.J. Hinch were both suspended for a year, then subsequently fired by Astros Owner Jim Crane.

Many fans were taken aback by the severity of the punishment meted out by MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred, but the fans weren’t alone. Several current and former MLB players – and media types – took to Twitter to make their surprise known.
