After 40+ years of being a huge MLB baseball fan, I can honestly say that I now pretty much hate the shitty MLB! What ever happened to the rule that states that “a batter must make a reasonable attempt to avoid being hit by a pitch”? The rules of the MLB say that “the batter is expected to make an effort to avoid being hit by the pitch” but the batters almost never try and get out of the way, and instead actually lean into the pitches.
The corniest part of the Walker Buehler ejection wasn’t Francisco Lindor leaning into a pitch before like a loser but that he talked shit, screaming + rooting for the ejection.
Big loser energy. Warrants a fastball to the back tomorrow if I’m the Red Sox. pic.twitter.com/IIUtXK1OPN https://t.co/nZQZUqdkog

Read the MLB Rules for yourself, and ask yourself if the MLB abides by their own rules? They don’t.
https://www.mlb.com/glossary/standard-stats/hit-by-pitch
“If a batter makes no attempt to avoid the pitch and is hit, the ball is considered a ball if it’s outside the strike zone. However, if the batter swings and misses, or is hit by a pitch in the strike zone, it’s called a strike.”
