Ha! This is pretty funny! NBC News’ Mark Halperin, who piled on President Trump before the election over the Access Hollywood tape, but now it is Halperin who is caught up in his own sexual harassment scandal which has now cost Halperin his jobs at NBC News and MSNBC.

Mark Halperin Resigns From NBC News After 5 Former Co-Workers Accuse of Sexual Misconduct

So far 5 women have come forward to accuse Halperin of sexual harassment when he was a top political “journalist” at ABC News.

Here is Halperin’s statement.

“During this period, I did pursue relationships with women that I worked with, including some junior to me. I now understand from these accounts that my behavior was inappropriate and caused others pain. For that, I am deeply sorry and I apologize. Under the circumstances, I’m going to take a step back from my day-to-day work while I properly deal with this situation.”

Clarissa Ward, a senior correspondent at CNN, claims that Halperin’s alleged sexual harassment was an “open secret” at ABC News “for years”, but nobody at ABC did anything to stop his actions? We need to get to the bottom of who knew about Halperin’s alleged sexual harassment, and what they did, or did not do to stop it.

How many other self-absorbed overpaid talking heads, like Mark Halperin, have these same woman-abusing skeletons in their closets? I’m sure it is very widespread among these entitled losers than we will ever know.

UPDATE: HBO Drops Halperin Affiliated Project & Showtime Evaluating Options.

“HBO is no longer proceeding with the project tied to the untitled book co-authored by Mark Halperin and John Heilemann on the 2016 Presidential election. HBO has no tolerance for sexual harassment within the company or its productions.”

“During Mark’s time working with us, we have not seen nor have there been allegations of any untoward behavior. We are aware of these reports and will continue to evaluate all options should we decide to move forward with another season of ‘The Circus‘. There is no tolerance for sexual harassment within Showtime and its productions.”

Mark Halperin, now under fire for alleged sexual misconduct, once attacked Donald Trump over the infamous “Access Hollywood” tape by wondering what “could be worse” than what Trump said.

Halperin resigned from NBC News Thursday following several allegations of sexual harassment raised by women he worked with at ABC News from 1997 to 2007.

CNN’s Oliver Darcy reported that several women (who did not openly go on the record) accused Halperin of harassing behavior.

He allegedly, “[pressed] an erection against their bodies while he was clothed,” and touched a female coworkers breasts without any warning or consent.

Halperin acknowledged the reports, admitting that he “did pursue relationships with women that I worked with, including some junior to me,” but also apologized, saying, “I now understand from these accounts that my behavior was inappropriate and caused others pain. For that, I am deeply sorry and I apologize. Under the circumstances, I’m going to take a step back from my day-to-day work while I properly deal with this situation.”
