Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia is laying down the law about the liberal war on Christianity, and the libtard craze of banning of all things Christian in government and public spaces around the United States.
Justice Scalia says there is “no place for that in our constitutional tradition” for banning Christian ideas from public, and is 100% right.
The stupid Godless libtard assholes out there will cry and say “Well, what about the “separation of church and state”?
To these fucking idiots I’d say, the phrase “separation of church and state” appears nowhere in the United States Constitution – it only says that the government will “make no laws” to push one religion over another, and gives Americans the right to exercise their religious rights.
The First Amendment states that “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.”
The “free exercise clause” is the most important in the, which says “or prohibiting the free exercise (of religion) thereof”
This means that the so-called “separation of church and state” does NOT mean that God cannot be mentioned in government, schools, or public spaces. It simply means that the government cannot force Americans to worship a specific religion, and also cannot stop us from worshiping any religion we choose. Period.
There is nothing in the US Constitution that says all Christian images and ideas are to be banned. There is nothing that says Christmas nativity scenes on public land have to be taken down. There is nothing that says a kid who brings his bible to school to read in their individual reading time is doing something wrong.
We are 100% free to worship any religion we wish, anytime we wish, and any way we wish, with no call for interaction from authorities, and anyone who says that the Separation of Church and State says that Christianity has to be completely removed from government, schools and public spaces is just another stupid Godless libtard loser, who is going to hell..
Speaking to Catholic high school students in New Orleans on Saturday, Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia said there is “no place” in the Constitution that rules out the idea of keeping God in government.
“To tell you the truth there is no place for that in our constitutional tradition,” Scalia said. “Where did that come from? To be sure, you can’t favor one denomination over another, but can’t favor religion over non-religion?”
The judge went on to say that U.S. presidents invoking God in their speeches is a good thing for the country. Scalia mentioned how other leaders of the world reacted hearing George W. Bush speak about God after the 9/11 attacks. From CNSNews:
Scalia said during the Sept. 11 attacks he was in Rome at a conference. The next morning, after a speech by President George W. Bush in which he invoked God and asked for his blessing, Scalia said many of the other judges approached him and said they wished their presidents or prime ministers would do the same.
More from Scalia’s speech:
God has been very good to us. That we won the revolution was extraordinary. The Battle of Midway was extraordinary. I think one of the reasons God has been good to us is that we have done him honor. Unlike the other countries of the world that do not even invoke his name we do him honor. In presidential addresses, in Thanksgiving proclamations and in many other ways.
There is nothing wrong with that and do not let anybody tell you that there is anything wrong with that.
