Outback Steakhouse is one of the dumb-ass companies promoting a so-called “Gun-Free” zone, where the only people in their restaurants who have guns are the criminals.
Good guys eating in gun-free restaurants are basically sitting ducks, with no protection from dangerous and violent terrorists, or others who just want to go into an Outback Steakhouse, or other gun-free area, and start shooting up the place.
Criminals usually look for soft targets where the criminal can inflict as much damage/death on people, with little danger to their own lives from armed citizens or, God forbid, an armed and uniformed offer of the law. This is why terrorists often target schools, churches, and gun-free zones like Outback Steakhouse.
Honestly, I will probably never again eat at Outback Steakhouse because I don’t want to be a victim of violence because the management of the restaurant is too politically correct and stupid to put all of their customer’s lives at risk for fear of possibly offending someone – most likely a mentally fucked up libtard who is offended by everything anyway.
Outback’s parent company, Bloomin Brands, released a statement: “We’ve always allowed uniformed law enforcement officers to carry their side arms inside our restaurants. A manager made a mistake and we have discussed this with her. We have contacted the guest personally and apologized.”
Outback also sent the officer a $100 gift certificate.
Honestly, I’m not sure if this is good enough. Maybe Outback Steakhouse’s parent company should also announce that they are not a gun free zone, and hold additional training for their staff, so that uniformed officers are allowed to carry their holstered firearms in Outback Steakhouse restaurants.
Anyone who values their own life will want to stay away from Outback Steakhouse as well for the time being, or risk becoming the latest victim of terrorism at designated or imagined gun free zones – at least until they have their shit worked out.
The Facebook post of a Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency officer went viral after he says he was kicked out of Outback Friday night.
He says he stopped by Outback Steakhouse to eat dinner with his wife.
Andrew Ward says he was approached by the manager and asked to put his gun in his truck.
Ward says he told her that he couldn’t because he was in uniform.
Ward posted to Facebook that she made a call and returned to the table to ask him to leave because Outback is a gun free zone.
“I don’t blame the manager… but this is ridiculous and we will never go back there ever again,” says Ward on Facebook.
Ward says “A uniformed Law Enforcement Officer who is sworn to protect and serve the public, is refused service because they have a firearm!”
He went on to say, “I am disgusted and have no other words!!!”
He later posted that Outback reached out and apologized for the incident.
Ward says that they told him, “there was another customer that was ‘scared for her life’ who was seated across from us”.
Ward went on saying that he was told that the customer stated that she was afraid because “police are shooting people.”
He was told that this customer demanded to be escorted to her vehicle, “out of fear of being shot”.
Ward says he is thankful he is “humbled” by the support he and his wife received.
