Former Democrat Treasurer Traci Kornak faces three felony charges related to allegedly embezzling funds from a vulnerable adult (an elderly individual) for whom she served as conservator:
- One count of embezzlement from a vulnerable adult in the amount of $50,000 or more but less than $100,000 (a felony punishable by up to 15 years in prison upon conviction).
- One count of embezzlement from a vulnerable adult in the amount of $1,000 or more but less than $20,000.
- One count of false pretenses in the amount of $1,000 or more but less than $20,000.
