Kelloggs Boycott Brings Company to It’s Knees – $53 Million Loss for Quarter – Closing 39 Distribution Centers
Kelloggs seems to be in REALLY bad shape, and has announced that the company lost %53 million in the quarter, and that they will be laying off employees and closing 39 distribution centers as a result.
The ongoing problems with Kelloggs sales most likely stems from the damaging boycott started against the company, in order to fight back against their liberal politics, after said that breitbart.com is not “aligned with our values as a company”, and then dropped their advertisements on the conservative-leaning website.
Laughably, the people at Kelloggs keep downplaying their problems, and blames the problems on anything other than the boycott.
There have also been allegations of the use of child labor, and charges of racism towards factory workers at Kelloggs facilities, which probably aren’t helping the company either.
…Kellogg Company, the nation’s largest breakfast cereal manufacturer, is again announcing major cut backs and has slashed its sales forecast as profits continue to fall.
