In the video, you see a police officer Gillis swings something at Scheffler’s car while running up to the car as it stopped. Nobody was dragged. New reports also say that the officer Gillis fell on his own, and that Scottie Scheffler was moving very slowly through the area.

Officer Gillis claims he was “dragged on the ground by Sheffer’s car which led to pain swelling and abrasions on his left wrist and knee and damaging his pants beyond repair”. (Who has their pants repaired?) Hmm.. That sounds like what might happen when you fall on your own as well..
