What is happening with all of these bad shootings by cops lately? This is another one where a guy obviously having a mental health crisis was shot pretty much for no immediate reason. The man did have an axe, but did not have it raised, and was even walking away from the Chesterfield County Police officers, who shot and killed him.

Apparently, from what the story said, the Chesterfield County VA Police were refusing to release this bodycam footage, and the courts had to get involved to have the video released. It’s easy to see why the Chesterfield Police wanted to keep the video hidden though! It’s pretty damning!

I don’t care what the so-called “investigators” said. This deadly shooting by Chesterfield County VA Police was definitely unjustified, and the Chesterfield “police officer” belongs in prison.

The body camera video was seen by an 8News reporter on April 10. At the time, Chesterfield Police said they were not going to release the video to the public. However, 8News was able to obtain the footage through court documents.
