WARNING RECEIVED BY APALACHEE HS PRIOR TO SHOOTING WAS IGNORED OR DISREGARDED
The high school that was shot-up on Wednesday was warned ahead of time that the school would be attacked, but nothing was done to lock-down the school or stop the shooting.
We are already hearing that, only last year, local Jackson County law enforcement and the FBI investigated and interviewed Colt Gray and his father, regarding online posts that Gray made, in which he threatened to shoot-up a school. Nothing was done to Gray at that time because Gray denied making the online threats.
His aunt, Annie Brown, told the Washington Post that Colt had been “begging for help from everybody around him”, and said he had been struggling with his mental health prior to the shooting. She also says that “the adults around him failed him.”
Now we all have to sit back and wait to hear about all of the other many red flags that should have alerted “authorities” to a problem with this 14 year old kid, but as is the case in most other school shootings, the many other red flags, that would have alerted most …
