Drunk Holyoke MA City Councilmember Israel Rivera Threatens To Cut Police Budget After Being Busted For DWI

Holyoke, MA City Councilmember Israel Rivera was stopped by the police and suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and Rivera thought the laws don’t apply to him, and that he could use his position as city councilmember to get away with his alleged DWI unpunished. The police wanted to follow the law though, which made Israel Rivera mad enough to tell the police officers that he would just cut their budget as retaliation.

We would hope that the people who live in Holyoke will make sure that Israel Rivera is removed as a City Councilmember!
