An 18 year old girl in England was attacked and being raped, and luckily she had a knife and stabbed the rapist to death. Now the young lady was forced to defend herself against murder charges and sentenced to 17 years in prison!!!! So, in England, the criminals run the show, you have no free speech, and no right to defend yourself as you are violently attacked. Martyna Ogonowska was just 18 when she stabbed Filip Jaskiewicz to death in a Peterborough car park in 2018—while he was sexually assaulting her.
She said it was self-defense. The judge disagreed, saying she couldn’t claim that because she had brought the knife for “protection.”
She was convicted of murder and sentenced to life in prison, with a minimum of 17 years behind bars.
Martyna had PTSD from being raped at 14, was bullied after moving to the UK from Poland, suffered postnatal depression, and had been through serious trauma.
But none of it was enough to get her sentence lowered.
Her lawyers argued the judge ignored key factors and asked the Court of Appeal to reduce her time to 12–13 years.
The court said no.
They called it “a heavy sentence” but said it wasn’t “excessive,” and backed the original judge’s view.
Meanwhile, women’s rights groups say the justice system failed her again—first when her alleged rapist was never charged, and now by punishing her for fighting back.
THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT THIS STORY IS THAT THE RAPIST WAS KILLED BY THE HANDS OF HIS VICTIM!!
