On the evening of January 24, 2023, murderer Lindsay Clancy asked her husband to pick up takeout from a restaurant and medication from a pharmacy, to get him out of the house. While he was out Lindsay Clancy murdered her own kids in the basement of the family home by strangling them with exercise resistance bands around their necks. Lindsay then cut her wrists and neck and jumped from a second-story window in an apparent suicide attempt.
