Here is a way to trigger any leftie.. Tell them that, according to the prevailing scholarly interpretation of the Constitution, a two-term President absolutely could be elected (or appointed) as Vice President of the United States, and then ascend to the presidency for a 3rd term via succession. The constitution says “No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice…”, but ascending to the Presidency is not being elected.
