Sorry to have to say it, but the so-called anti-cancel-culture claimed by new social media company GETTR is just a load of shit, and GETTR is no better than Twitter when it comes to banning people for political views.
I am becoming suspicious of @GETTRofficial as I reached out to them regarding the banning (w/out explanation) of a prominent, controversial user
They said he violated their TOS, but won’t respond to my inquiry of what in their TOS he violated or what post violated it 1/2

I reached out to the banned individual, Nicholas Fuentes, for comment
He said there was no specific post or reason given, just banned w/out explanation just like Twitter does
With financing being from China and similar banning practices to Twitter
I’m not convinced atm

Despite GETTR claiming that they would not ban people for their political viewpoints, GETTR has repeatedly banned America First streamer Nick Fuentes, seemingly for no reason other than they don’t like his politics.
I think GETTR is just another left-wing propaganda outlet that has tricked conservatives into thinking that they are different than what we already had – and that they respected the 1st amendment, but they are no different, and they certainly do not respect the freedom of speech.
Nope! Cancel culture doesn’t happen at #GETTR! https://t.co/JlpukspxqC

JASON MILLER IS A SHITTY LIAR!
America First streamer Nick Fuentes has been repeatedly banned from GETTR, the platform ran by former Trump advisor Jason Miller, for seemingly no reason.
Fuentes, the host of the popular nightly show “America First,” was initially banned from GETTR, a supposed free speech alternative to Twitter, at the end of last month.
Earlier this week, Elijah Schaffer of The Blaze contacted GETTR, who Schaffer says told him Fuentes violated their terms of service, did not note specific violations or what posts contained them.
“My inquiry was extremely professional and predicated on the basis that the public deserves the right to know GETTR’s threshold for banning users, largely in part due to their users joining to avoid the very censorship practices they seem to be implementing,” Schaffer added, saying that the obtuse nature of Fuentes’s banning made him “suspicious” of the platform.
Fuentes attempted to rejoin the platform multiple times on Tuesday evening, but was banned shortly after each time, even as viewers watched on his live stream.
“If I go on there, and they ban me for being me, well what is that? It’s arbitrary, it’s discretionary, and when they ban groyper, that takes it to a different level,” Fuentes said on his stream, referring to previous reports from the Daily Beast and others that GETTR had banned the term “groyper” from their platform, a name used to describe supporters of Fuentes.
The ban would seem to stand in direct contrast to GETTR’s supposed free speech mentality.

In October last year, Miller was asked on Twitter if he would ever cancel anyone “for their political opinions.” Miller proudly responded in the negative, claiming that “cancel culture doesn’t happen at #GETTR!”Arizona State Senator Wendy Rogers, a well known supporter of the America First agenda, slammed GETTR for the ban, saying that they would be “no better than Twitter” if they refused to restore his account.
“Free speech is free speech,” Rogers continued, arguing that if conservatives who are upset about Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene’s recent Twitter ban, but not Fuentes’s GETTR ban, “then we have a problem.”
