There is some weirdness going on with the story of the black man, Ahmaud Arbery, who was supposedly gunned down while merely jogging down the street.
The “official” story that we’ve heard, that purports that Ahmaud Arbery was just minding his own business while out on his daily jog, which may have been the case at some point, but after watching the video just doesn’t add up.
I don’t have any additional details about the case, other than what I’ve read and watched.
If Ahmaud Arbery was just out on a jog, why was someone following behind him while filming? Ahmaud Arbery was almost out of sight, and the pickup truck that the shooter was in was not in frame at all, and would not be visible to the people taking the video for another 10 seconds or so – so how did they know that something was about to happen to cause them to start filming?
Even the story we quote says “a black man in Georgia who was fatally shot in February after being pursued by two armed white men” when the video shows just the opposite. The white men were not “pursuing” Ahmaud Arbery – it was Arbery who tracked down the white men in the pickup truck, and it was Ahmaud Arbery who seemed to go around the pickup truck to immediately and violently attack the armed man, without saying a word – and ended up causing his own death.
Maybe what happened is that Ahmaud Arbery was out for a run when the people in the pickup truck probably drove by and said something to Arbery. Maybe something like “Get the fuck out of the road!”, and then the two probably had heated words back and forth.
Or it could be that the person filming the incident knew that something was about to happen – so was the person filming the video involved with the shooter of with the jogger?
The video shows the aftermath of that incident where Ahmaud Arbery was probably actually chasing don the pickup truck. Also, when jogging normally, people don’t run down the middle of the road – they usually run off the road as much as possible.
Also pay attention to what happens when Ahmaud Arbery reaches the pickup truck. If Arbery was only out for a run, then why did he circle the pickup truck to attack the man? Even if Arbery was ambushed, as they seem to be trying to say, then why would Ahmaud Arbery run towards the attacker instead of away?
Again, I have no details other than what is available online, but there could be a lot more going on than any of us know, but I definitely don’t believe the reports I’ve been reading is the full story.
Unfortunately, many other racist losers, like NBA dumbfuck LeBron James, are stoking other racists on social media, and making the situation worse. LeBron James tweeted out “We’re literally hunted EVERYDAY/EVERYTIME we step foot outside the comfort of our homes! Can’t even go for a damn jog, man! Like WTF man are you kidding me?!?!?!?!?!?” which is true – but blacks are only being hunted by members of their own race.
The case of a black man in Georgia who was fatally shot in February after being pursued by two armed white men is gaining widespread attention among lawmakers, particularly after a graphic video of the incident was released this week.
“Ahmaud Arbery was murdered for being Black,” Rep Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., said in a Thursday morning tweet. “His White assailants were allowed to roam free *for months* after lynching him. They faced no charges, no arrests. Police had video of Ahmaud’s murder the day it happened. His family deserves justice. Our country deserves answers.”
Ahmaud Arbery, 25, was killed on Feb. 23 when 64-year-old Gregory McMichael spotted Arbery jogging and called 911 to report a “black man running down the street” and said he suspected the man was involved in recent burglaries. McMichael called his son, Travis. The pair armed themselves, and then tracked Arbery down on the road.
The police report says Gregory McMichael told officers he and his son first tried to stop Arbery by shouting, “Stop, stop, we want to talk to you!” The father claimed that Arbery attacked his son and they got into a struggle for a shotgun. Police said the son fired two shots.
Arbery’s family maintains he was simply out for a jog at the time.
