CA State Assembly Candidate Melissa Fazli accused Gil Cisneros of sexual misconduct, but now it appears as though Cisneros has convinced Fazli to recant her very serious, very credible and very detailed sexual misconduct allegations.

Gil Cisneros sexual harassment accuser, Melissa Fazli, is now recanting her story after meeting with the Cisneros campaign, and now says that the sexual misconduct accusations were just a “big misunderstanding”.

So, Melissa Fazli makes these very serious and believable accusations against Gil Cisneros, but then has one meeting with the Cisneros campaign… and then POOF! The very serious allegations against Gil Cisneros are supposed to magically go away and be forgotten?

I don’t think so! The very serious and credible sexual misconduct allegations against Gil Cisneros need to be fully investigated to give CA voters all the information they need to prevent electing a sexual abuser to a government position.

I believe the original story by Ms. Fazli, and we cannot allow the Cisneros campaign to coverup his despicable alleged sexual misconduct – because the American People don’t want sexual abusers in positions of power in our government.

Where are the calls for an FBI investigation of the sexual misconduct allegations against CA Democrat State Assembly candidate Gil Cisneros?
If the sexual misconduct allegations against Gil Cisneros are untrue, then why hadn’t Cisneros and his campaign asked to have the FBI investigate the claims against him?

A new ad from the Congressional Leadership Fund hits Democratic congressional candidate Gil Cisneros for sexual harassment allegations levied against him in May by a former Democratic candidate for California Assembly District 55.

The ad, titled “Anything,” notes that Cisneros, who is running for congress in California’s 39th Congressional District, was accused of sexual harassment earlier this year by Melissa Fazli and says the “rich and powerful think they can get away with anything.”

The Cisneros campaign has vehemently denied the accusations since they were made, saying they were “false allegations,” but Fazli has stood by her account and opened up about her depression and anxiety that has resulted from Cisneros and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee’s silence.

Back in April, shortly before Fazli made her account public, the DCCC added Cisneros to its highly competitive “Red to Blue” program, which chooses Democratic candidates it deems will be competitive in a general election.

The CLF calls Cisneros’ alleged behavior “wrong” and “disgusting.”

“The rich and powerful think they can get away with anything and Gil Cisneros is no different. A Democratic state assembly candidate accused Cisneros of misconduct, saying Cisneros sexually harassed her when he inappropriately invited himself to her hotel room and demanded sex in exchange for supporting her campaign,” the ad narrator says. “It’s wrong. It’s disgusting. Gil Cisneros, have you no shame?”
