Seminole Medical Examiner Dr. Valerie Rao needs to go back to school and take a physics class.
The idiotic Medical Examiner Dr. Valerie Rao said that both of the gashes on the back of George Zimmerman’s head were probably caused by just one “impact” or slam of Zimmerman’s head against the pavement.
A person’s head is roundish, so when one point of contact of the head comes in contact with the concrete, the other parts of the head would not be touching the concrete walkway.
If the back of Zimmerman’s head was flat, then Dr. Valerie Rao could have been right, but she is completely wrong, and my sense is that she knows what she said was a fabrication, and nothing close to the truth.
Take a balloon, which is almost the same shape of a human head, and touch one area of the balloon to a table or other flat surface, ad you will see that the one spot would be touching the table, but all other spots around the contact area would not be touching the concrete. This is basic physics, which the brainless Medical Examiner Dr. Valerie Rao admits she is not good at – obviously.
Every bit of the corrupt Medical Examiner, Dr. Valerie Rao’s testimony was slanted to try and help the prosecution convict Zimmerman, and was very hostile to the Defense, and her testimony was not only hostile, but untruthful as well.
Zimmerman’s defense team should call a physics expert to testify if the two gashes on the back of Zimmerman’s head could have been caused by one slam on the concrete, and show that Medical Examiner Dr. Valerie Rao has no clue what she is talking about.
Dr. Valerie Rao also said hat if someone was on their back after their nose was smashed and bleeding, the person would have coughed up the blood, instead of swallowing it, which is not true at all. If a stream of blood is running back from your nose, and down the throat, the gag reflex would automatically make the person swallow, and most of the blood would end up in the stomach. Only after standing up would the blood flow forward out the front of the nose, which the idiot medical examiner obviously could not, or did not want to understand or confirm.
On Tuesday, the prosecution called medical examiner Dr. Valerie Rao, chief medical examiner for Seminole, Volusia and Flagler counties. The state did not, however, call the pathologist in Daytona Beach who did the autopsy on Trayvon Martin.
Rao testified that Zimmerman’s injuries were not life-threatening. She said that his injuries on his head were consistent with his head hitting concrete once, but she would not characterize them with being consistent with his head being slammed repeatedly to concrete. She said that all of the injuries could have come from a single punch or blow.
Rao was asked whether the injuries could be consistent with repeated punches to the head, as Zimmerman told Sean Hannity on Fox News. She said yes, if some punches caused little or no injury.
The defense asked Rao if she was appointed to her position by Angela Corey, the prosecutor who decided to take up the case. She answered in the affirmative. The defense asked whether Rao did any work on Trayvon Martin’s medical records. She answered no. She said that the medical evidence was consistent with at least three impacts between Zimmerman’s head and concrete.
The defense asked Rao about the abrasions on Martin’s hands. She testified they were consistent with striking someone. She testified there were no other injuries on Martin other than the gunshot wound, and she said there were no injuries consistent with trauma that took place on cement.
Honestly, it doesn’t even matter if Trayvon Martin slammed George Zimmerman’s head against the concrete one time or multiple times – especially after Trayvon Martin told Zimmerman “You’re gonna die tonight motherfucker”. If I was in the same position, I would definitely feared for my life, and no doubt would have shot Trayvon Martin after one slam of my head on the concrete.
