Worried About Making Team & Endorsements: Anti-American Philadelphia Eagles Rookie Myke Tavarres Will Now Stand During National Anthem

Dumbass anti-American Philadelphia Eagles rookie linebacker Myke Tavarres claimed that he would follow the lead of fellow anti-American San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, and remain seated during the national anthem.

Worried About Making Team & Endorsements: Anti-American Philadelphia Eagles Rookie Myke Tavarres Will Now Stand During National Anthem

THEN, after seeing the backlash and hatred of Kaepernick flooding the Internet, and worrying that coming out of the closet as an America hater may damage his chances of making the final Philadelphia Eagles roster, Tavarres changed his mind, and says he will now stand for the national anthem.

“I’m a rookie free agent, haven’t signed any major contract, so there’s not a lot of money on the line, I don’t have any big endorsement deals on the line,” – Anti-American Philadelphia Eagles rookie linebacker Myke Tavarres

Myke Tavarres probably isn’t a Muslim terrorist wannabe, like Kaepernick, which may have affected his decision, but I feel that if Tavarres already has a spot locked up on the team roster, he would for sure be following through with his display of anti-Americanism, as he initially planned.

Maybe the Philadelphia Eagles also had something to say about how Myke Tavarres’ anti-American actions could reflect on the team?

Here is Tavarres’ reversal statement, which was very doubtfully actually written by Tavarres.

I want to apologize for the distraction I’ve become to all of Eagle Nation. I feel passionate about racial issues going on in our country and I thought that sitting during the National Anthem would bring more awareness to this issue and encourage more constructive discussion to find solutions, but I feel I only made things worse. I want to make change in this world, but sitting down during the national anthem just isn’t the best way to do it. With that being said, I do plan on finding a better way. I’m young and I still have a lot to learn about saying and doing the right thing. For now, I will stay focused on football; but I will definitely look for opportunities to do what I can to prevent injustices. I am so blessed to be an American and I just feel a responsibility to do what I can to make things better.

How about Kaepernick and Tavarres doing/saying something about the black on black crime overrunning our cities, and is a MUCH larger problem that the tiny number of police killings.

Philadelphia Eagles rookie linebacker Myke Tavarres told ESPN on Monday that he will join 49er’s quarterback Colin Kaepernick in sitting for the National Anthem.

Tavarres is vying for a position on the Eagles roster.

For some reason he thought this would not affect his chances of making the team.

Philadelphia Eagles rookie linebacker Myke Tavarres has decided to join Colin Kaepernick in sitting out the national anthem.

Speaking to ESPN on Monday, Tavarres said he almost sat during the anthem ceremony preceding Saturday night’s game against the Colts in Indianapolis, and he plans to follow through when the Eagles host the New York Jets in their preseason finale Thursday night.

“Oh, I thought about it. Believe me, I definitely thought about it,” Tavarres said of sitting Saturday night. “And usually I’m front and center on the line with the rest of the guys, and that’s since pre-K all the way up. Saturday’s game, I stepped back, I was in the background, and it didn’t feel right to me at all, and so I will be taking a stand — or sitting down — for the fourth game.”

Tavarres is on the bubble to make the team.
This was not the brightest move.
