What does it really matter what the Rolling Dust Farts want? As far as I know, Trump is free to play whatever songs he wishes to play, no matter if he asked, or was given permission by the so-called “artists”.
Copyright laws allow political candidates to use just about any song they want though, as long as they’re played at a stadium, arena or other venue that already has a public-performance license through a songwriters’ association such as ASCAP or BMI.
So, if Trump wants to play Rolling Stones songs at his campaign stops for some reason, as long as he pays the ASCAP & BMI fees, I don’t think there is one fucking thing that the asshole Rolling Dust Farts can do about it.
If I were Trump I would continue playing the songs that he has been told to stop using, just to piss off the libtard losers who are demanding that he stop.

The Rolling Stones are one of the most overrated bands in the history of Rock and Roll. Their music is basic and boring, and the musical talent has definitely gone away. Rolling Stones music may have been palatable to people back in the 60’s, but that is where it should have stayed.

One day after Donald Trump became the GOP’s presumptive nominee, The Rolling Stones demanded that the New York billionaire stop playing their music at campaign events.
Rolling Stones music has been routinely played at Trump’s events throughout primary including “You Can’t Always Get What You Want,” “Sympathy for the Devil,” and “Brown Sugar.”
“The Rolling Stones have never given permission to the Trump campaign to use their songs and have requested that they cease all use immediately,” a spokesperson for the veteran British rock band told TIME Magazine Wednesday.
Trump is running into the same obstacles with music previous Republican presidential candidates have found themselves dealing with. Bruce Springsteen demanded Ronald Reagan stop playing his tune “Born In The USA” at campaign stops and Tom Petty did not want George W. Bush to play his song, “I Won’t Back Down.” Silversun Pickups demanded Mitt Romney from playing “Panic Switch” on the campaign trail.
The Huffington Post reported in February that the Trump camp did not ask for permission from artists to use their music. Representatives of singer Adele’s told HuffPo that no permission was given to use her music either when it was played at stops in the midwest
Trump is known to play other songs at his campaign stops including: Elton John’s “Rocket Man” and “Tiny Dancer,” John Mellencamp’s “ROCK In The USA,” and Billy Joel’s “Uptown Girl.”
The playlist, a campaign volunteer told the New Yorker in February, is one that Trump personally put together.
