MMA Fighter Defends Home Against 4 Mexican Gang Thugs – Exonerated After Killing One Attacker

Four Mexican (probably illegal immigrants) gang members broke into the wrong guy’s house, and paid dearly.
After breaking in and being confronted by Mixed martial artist Joseph Torrez, one of the criminals is dead, and the other 3 will probably spend a good amount of time in prison.

These four Mexican gang members are probably illegal immigrants who will just be released back onto our streets, by the criminal and terrorist friendly Obama administration, to attack and terrorize more Americans. All of them except the guy who was killed, of course..

We are not all MMA fighters, which is why home defense with a firearm, like a pistol or a shotgun is the best option to protect your home and family.

I can tell you that if these four gang members broke into my house the story would be talking about 4 dead Mexican thugs, instead of one, because anyone entering my house illegally will be shot, and will probably be dead before they hit the ground.

Mixed martial artist Joseph Torrez proved his strength by taking on four gang members who broke into his New Mexico house and ending the life of one of them.

Now, prosecutors are saying that he’s proved his innocence as well. They’re declining to charge him for the death of the criminal he killed.

The Las Cruces District Attorney’s office announced that their investigation found Torrez was within his rights to kill 25-year-old Sal Garces on New Year’s Day of 2014.

They also said that additional evidence from the Dona Ana County Sheriff’s Office served to help exonerate Torrez in the matter.

The incident took place at 2 a.m. on Jan. 1, when four known gang members broke into the MMA star’s home in Las Cruces, N.M.

The four men were identified as Sal Garces, 25, Raymond Garces, 19, Nathan Avalos, 20, and Leonard Calvillo, 22. One of them was armed with what witnesses described as a “crude shank” and another grabbed a knife upon entering the home.

However, that wasn’t nearly enough to stop Torrez, who was able to fight all of them off. Garces died of his injuries, while Calvillo was hospitalized with serious facial injuries.

“He was fighting for his life,” said C.J. McElhinney, Torrez’s attorney.

These are three of the people who broke into Torrez’s house in prior mug shots. From left to right — Calvillo, Raymond Garces, and the deceased Sal Garces.

Torrez’s case became a cause celebre among self-defense activists, with money raised for his defense online. Eventually, it would prove unnecessary, as the MMA fighter wasn’t charged (H/T Mad World News).

We may not all be be MMA fighters, but we’re able to arm and protect ourselves against intruders like these four.

And, as this case shows, that can sometimes be the difference between life and death.
