Clinton Surrogate Spox Refuses 3 Times to Answer Question “Is Hillary Clinton Honest?”

Hilarious!!!! New Hampshire Gov, and Hillary Clinton surrogate spokesperson Maggie Hassan was directly asked 3 separate times, in the same interview with Manu Raju, a senior political reporter at CNN, if she thinks that Hillary Clinton is honest and trustworthy, and refused to answer.

Instead of answering the question about Hillary Clinton’s honesty, Maggie Hassan did what most other politicians typically do when posed with questions that they don’t want to answer, and proceeded to give answers to other non-related questions that were never asked.

RAJU: Do you think she (Hillary Clinton) is honest and trustworthy?

HASSAN: I support Hillary Clinton for the presidency because her experience and her record demonstrate she is qualified to hold the job.

RAJU: Do you think she is honest?

HASSAN: She has a critical, critical plan among others for making college more affordable.

RAJU: But do you think that she is trustworthy?

HASSAN: I think she has demonstrated a commitment always to something beyond herself, bigger than herself.

It’s pretty fucking sad when the people who go on TV to answer the questions that Hillary Clinton won’t answer can’t even honestly say that they trust Crooked Lyin’ Hillary Clinton.

It sure speaks volumes when a top surrogate for Hillary Clinton cannot even confirm the candidate’s honesty.

New Hampshire Gov. Maggie Hassan, the Democratic challenger to Republican Sen. Kelly Ayotte for the Senate, dodged the question three times in an interview with CNN’s Manu Raju.

“I support Hillary Clinton for the presidency because her experience and her record demonstrates that she’s qualified to hold the job,” Hassan replied when asked if she thought Clinton was “honest and trustworthy.”

“She has a critical plan among others for making college more affordable,” Hassan responded to the second attempt by Raju to elicit an answer to the question.

“I think that she has demonstrated a commitment always to something beyond herself, bigger than herself,” she replied after a third question, directly asking if she found the Democratic presidential nominee to be trustworthy. The Clinton campaign clarified later that Hassan did find Clinton to be honest.

Ayotte’s campaign seized the opportunity to blast Hassan.

“Governor Hassan has consistently refused to answer simple questions and give straight answers to voters about where she stands,” Ayotte spokeswoman Liz Johnson said Tuesday in a statement. “This interview is just the latest proof that Hassan will not be an independent voice for New Hampshire, because she is more concerned with staying on script than being upfront with voters.”
