King of Lost Jobs: Obama Admin Brings Heat on Self By Attacking Romney

There are huge problems with Obama attacking Romney and Bain Capital for some very minor job losses, since Obama’s socialist policies, like taking over the Auto Industry, and closing many auto dealerships that they just didn’t like, thereby taking away tens of thousands of jobs from Americans. To make matters much worse, the corrupt Obama administration only closed the auto dealers whose owners did not support Obama. Its a fact!

So let’s take another look. Romney worked at a company that saved may tens of thousands of jobs, and there were some jobs that were lost through the normal workings of a capital investment company. Due to Mitt Romney and Bain Capital, there are many companies that were saved, and many more people have a job today.

Obama closed auto dealers without reason, other than the fact that he wanted to get back at the dealer owners for not supporting him, and single handedly took away the jobs of tens of thousands of people, which also negatively affected their entire family. Obama’s failed socialist policies have also destroyed millions of additional jobs, which they still blame on Bush..

Obama is the king of lost jobs, and nobody will ever be able to touch his administration’s rampant overspending, job losses, and attack on Capitalism.

The Obama campaign launched an attack against Mitt Romney’s business experience at Bain Capital on Monday, marking the beginning of what is almost certain to be a defining debate in the presidential campaign.

It was a moment that both sides have long expected, but one that nevertheless provided an early indication of how the battle over Bain — and the candidates’ differing versions of capitalism — will be fought.

In a two-minute ad that will air during the evening news Wednesday, the Obama campaign focuses on a shuttered steel mill in Kansas City, Mo., and the workers who lost their jobs after it went bankrupt under the supervision of Bain, a private-equity firm co-founded by Romney, now the likely GOP presidential nominee.

One former worker in the ad calls Bain a “vampire” that “came in and sucked the life out of us.”

The not-so-subtle theme — that Bain is a corporate menace that rewards investors at the expense of employees — mimics a strategy first used to devastating effect by then-Sen. Edward M. Kennedy (D-Mass.), who trounced Romney in a 1994 Senate race.

The Romney team responded swiftly. Within hours, it released its own 60-second video, titled “American Dream,” about Bain’s investment in Steel Dynamics, an Indiana company that Bain helped grow from 1,400 employees to more than 6,000. The campaign also distributed research to reporters and put senior adviser Ed Gillespie on a conference call with conservative bloggers.

The message from the Romney team was designed as both a defense and an attack: Obama just doesn’t understand how the economy works. Sometimes businesses succeed, sometimes they don’t — and the president would know that if he had spent any time in the private sector.

How the public comes to view Bain, a Boston-based company Romney led for 15 years, is critical to the former Massachusetts governor’s chances in November. He has pointed to his time at Bain and the business experience he gained there as the singular reason he is the right man to fix the nation’s troubled economy.

Bain was a pioneer in an aspect of capitalism that was widely accepted before the economic meltdown. It invests in start-ups, such as Staples, an office supplies superstore, and it makes leveraged buyouts of ailing companies that can lead to large-scale job losses through restructuring. Many Americans now consider such maneuvers part of the problem, a facet of finance that enriches investors while caring little for workers and their communities.

Democrats are trying to tap into that sentiment to raise doubts about Romney.

“That’s the heart of his campaign,” said Tad Devine, who helped craft similar Bain-related ads for Kennedy. “And if you undercut that, there aren’t a lot of places left for Romney to go.”

The two campaigns have been preparing for this moment for months: Obama began devising a Bain strategy over the winter, and the Romney team’s response was pulled from a library of prepared videos.

The Obama ad, which will air in Colorado, Iowa, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Virginia, highlights the story of a steel mill that Bain bought in 1993. GST Steel eventually went bankrupt, costing 750 workers their jobs, as Bain’s leaders walked away with an estimated $12 million in profit.

Hypocritical Obama Administration Promises $1B in Taxpayer-Backed Corporate-Jet Subsidies

This administration is the most corrupt, least experienced, bunch of lying jackass losers we have ever seen! It’s unbelievable how the Obama administration has been given a free pass on all of their failures and lies by the corrupt Obama-swooning media, but we feel that their time is nearing it’s end, and we will soon be rid of most of the corruption plaguing our nation.

Remember when Obama was railing on about “the tax-break for corporate jets,” during the debt-ceiling fights of 2011? He repeatedly invoked this “tax break,” which was really about how some corporate jets were depreciated over five years instead of seven. The message was clear: Republicans are in bed with corporate-jet owners. His loyal legions on the Left joined the chant.

But today, Obama’s export-subsidy chief promised a billion dollars in taxpayer-backed subsidies for corporate jets, according to Bloomberg News.

Fred Hochberg heads the Export-Import Bank, a federal agency that subsidizes U.S. exports by loaning money or guaranteeing loans to foreign buyers of U.S. goods. Bloomberg reports:

Export-Import Bank Chairman Fred Hochberg plans to provide more financial aid to U.S. corporate jet manufacturers, branching out from a traditional support for Boeing Co. (BA) to help an industry where demand has suffered….

Ex-Im supported $90 million of corporate jet deliveries last year to customers of Textron Inc. (TXT)’s Cessna Aircraft Co, General Dynamics Corp. (GD)’s Gulfstream unit and Hawker Beechcraft Corp. Hochberg said he plans to boost the aid to $1 billion by 2014. The increased focus comes after order backlogs on corporate jets fell by more than half to $40 billion in three years.

This might be something for Senators to consider today as they vote on reauthorizing Ex-Im — do they really want to cut subsidies to the corporate jet makers? Imagine the world with more expensive corporate jets!

It also is a perfect microcosm of Obama’s approach to industry: Tax them more, regulate them more, and subsidize them more. As little as possible should be done outside the reach of government.

An innocent and unsuspecting 24 year old U.S. Army soldier was blind-sided with an initial sucker punch to the side of the head, which started a much more brutal beating at the hands of a violent and criminal mob of blacks, and one Hispanic running back to join in on the violence and crime.

Our initial thought is this group of violent black criminals are made up of gutless pussies, because only gutless pussies need to use sucker punches.

The US soldier was brutally beaten, and then robbed, by a violent gang of black men in South Tampa Florida after his car had broken down, and he had started walking home.

Where is the racist race baiter Al Sharpton when there is REAL racial crime being committed by a mob of black people?

Tampa, Florida — Police want your help finding four men who teamed up to beat a young U.S. Army soldier in a South Tampa street.

It was an awful welcome to Tampa Bay for a young soldier. Police say the victim of a violent beating caught on camera is 24 years old and has lived in Tampa for less than a month.

He’s a U.S. Army soldier assigned to MacDill Air Force Base and lives not far from the base at Dale Mabry Hwy. and Interbay Blvd.

Police say Sunday morning, at around 3 a.m., the soldier’s car broke down a few miles from home along Westshore Blvd.

The attack came when he was walking home and using Iowa St. to get from Westshore to Dale Mabry. At the intersection of Iowa and Renellie Dr., the man came into the view of a neighbor’s motion-activated security camera.

A group of three young men is seen walking ahead of the soldier. Police say one of the men in the group doubled back and asked to soldier to borrow a dollar. When the soldier reached for his wallet, the first punch flew.

The first, tremendous sucker punch laid the victim onto the ground. The other two men joined in, punching and kicking the soldier.

A fourth man comes sprinting into view from the left edge of the video. The new attacker — a man the soldier said he had walked past earlier — joined in the beating.

Tampa Police officers say the crooks stole the soldier’s wallet and cell phone, then took off south on Renellie Dr. When he eventually got to his feet, the victim had to knock on doors to find someone to help him call 911.

The soldier was taken to Tampa General Hospital with cuts and bruises on his face and head. Police say he is expected to make a full recovery.

Police say they haven’t gotten many useful details about the suspects from the video.

The victim was not able to tell police much more: they’re all in their late teens to early 20′s. Two were black men with an average build, police said. One attacker was possibly Hispanic, also with an average build. The fourth man was also black, but with a heavier build.

Police are hoping someone knows about this brutal beating and will call Tampa Police at 813-354-6600 to help them find the attackers.

MSNBC’s Not Very Smart “Chill Up My Leg” Chris Matthews Gets Help With Jeopardy Answers – Still Loses.. Badly

On at least four occasions, MSNBC’s Chris Matthews mocked Sarah Palin for how he felt she’d do if she were ever on the hit television game show Jeopardy!.

In a delicious example of instant karma, the self-proclaimed brainiac got his chance to show American how smart he was in a special “Power Players” version of the show Monday, but came up quite short finishing dead last with the paltry sum of only $2,300

Matthews first flub came when he couldn’t even correctly request an answer to a question.

“Let’s go back to, what is ‘Crossword Clues E?’ I mean, I’m sorry, let’s go $200 for the category ‘Crossword Clues E.’”

The answer was, “At ____, soldier! Four letters.”

“At ease, soldier,” Matthews responded. What is ‘At ease, soldier?’”

Although the answer was “Ease,” host Alex Trebek accepted it.

A bit later, the answer was, “Full name of the U2 pilot shot down over the Soviet Union in 1960.”

Matthews responded, “Who is Gary Powers?”

Trebek countered, “We need the full name.”

Matthews actually just repeated the same thing saying, “Who is Gary Powers?”

Trebek said, “No,” and the audience burst out laughing.

The full name of course was Francis Gary Powers.

And that’s when things really went down hill for the arrogant Matthews.

With the category “Law and Order,” the answer was, “A U.S.D.C is one of these, charged with the jurisdiction of a specific region.”

Matthews responded, “What is a U.S. attorney?”

And this guy has the nerve to ridicule anyone. Where do you find “attorney” in the acronym “U.S.D.C.?”

Obviously, the correct response was district court.

Then, in the same category, another answer was, “In 1986, the Supreme Court ruled that the ‘hostile environment’ type of this can be sex discrimination.”

Matthews responded, “What is a hostile workplace?”

So this brainiac thinks the same word can be in both the answer AND the question.

Of course, the correct response was sexual harassment.

And then the fun really began in the category “6-Letter World Capitals” with the answer, “St. Basil’s Cathedral is there.”

Readers are once again reminded the category was “6-Letter World Capitals.”

Almost astonishingly, the pompous and holier-than-thou Matthews responded, “What is Istanbul?”

The correct response – containing six letters and not eight! – was Moscow.

As such, when Double Jeopardy! ended, Matthews had a whopping $4,600, almost $10,000 behind the leader and over $8,000 less than the contestant in second place.

As they all missed a very tough Final Jeopardy! question, the game concluded with first place at $5,600, second at $4,200, and Matthews pulling up the rear at only $2,300.

This from a man who on October 2, 2008, shortly before that evening’s Vice Presidential Debate, said of Palin:

“Is this [vice presidential debate] about her brain power?… Do you think cute will beat brains?…Do you think she’d do better on the questions on Jeopardy! or the interview they do during a half-time?…My suspicion is that she has the same lack of intellectual curiosity that the President of the United States has right now and that is scary!”

Then on January 12, 2010:

Ultra Corrupt HHS Gives Obama's Best Friend & Golf Buddy $5.9 Million Grant - Claims White House not involved.. Yea, Right!!

The idiots at the HHS say that the White House was not “in any way” involved in the decision to hand over close to $6 Billion of taxpayer money, but we very seriously doubt that unbelievable claim, which will most likely turn out to be just another one of the thousands of typical Obama lies told to the American People by the Obama administration.

The people of the United States MUST to start seeing the Obama administration and their cronies for what they are – A strong-handed, hypocritical, corrupt administration, whose crime and corruption has migrated through every level and office held by Democrats in our government. Until the American People start DEMANDING that the Obama administration be held accountable for all of the shady, corrupt, and illegal crap they pull, nothing will ever get better for our economy and country. The Department of Health and Human Services last week announced it had awarded a $5.9 million grant to a University of Chicago Medical Center program tied to Michelle Obama and run by Eric Whitaker, one of President Obama’s closest friends.

The Urban Health Initiative, which received the award, was originally based on a smaller program launched during the last decade by Michelle Obama, who was an executive at the University of Chicago Medical Center before she departed to become first lady. The UHI is headed up by Obama basketball and golf buddy Whitaker, who has known the president since Obama’s days in law school and who also vacations with the first family.

Obama senior adviser Valerie Jarrett also has ties to the UHI. Until resigning to go work at the White House, Jarrett was Chairman of the University of Chicago Medical Center Board of Trustees. And in 2007, a PR firm run by former senior White House adviser and Obama political guru David Axelrod provided provided public relations strategy advice to the UHI, according to the Washington Post.

There is no specific evidence that any of those linked to the Obamas, or the Obamas themselves, influenced the HHS decision to grant the funding to the UHI. But the large award raises questions about appearance, given the number of Obama associates connected to the program and the involvement of the first lady with its founding.

The UHI won out over lots of competition. According to HHS, some 3,000 applications were received for a share on the $1 billion in 3-year grants available. Only 26 programs were included in the first batch of awards doled out.

An HHS spokesperson said that while “final determinations” were made by the HHS’s CMS Innovation Center Director, objective standards were used in selecting the awards and the White House was not “in any way” involved in the selection of grantees.

“Applications that met the basic eligibility requirements underwent a competitive, objective review,” the spokesperson said. “Independent health care expert review panels from outside government and staff from all across the Department of Health and Human Services reviewed the applications for how well they met the criteria outlined in the grant solicitation, and made recommendations regarding funding . . . scoring was conducted by an independent panel of content experts that was organized by an experienced contractor.”

The awards have been politicized by the administration, which is touting them as part of its “We Can’t Wait” initiative to create jobs by executive action while the White House “waits” for the Republican-led House to act. The Innovation Center was established under Obamacare.

The Urban Health Initiative was founded to help link low-income patients to health providers in their communities.

According to HHS, UHI received the grant to help it, in partnership with other groups, increase patients’ access to health resources by developing an electronic database of health providers that links to electronic health records maintained by “local safety net providers.”

Last week’s award is not the first time money directed toward the UHI has raised red flags. In September, The Daily Caller reported that the private philanthropy of billionaire Obama supporter and donor George Kaiser had donated $10,000 to the UHI during 2009, the same year Kaiser secured the now-infamous $535 million government loan guarantee to failed solar panel maker Solyndra.

Democrats Run CA Economy Into Ground - Deficit Now $16B - Up $7B Since January!

Brain-dead liberal know-nothings run around telling their constituents and the liberal media that Republicans are to blame for the problems in CA, just as Obama does everywhere else in the nation, but we all know that the real problem is Democrats who push the Entitlement Culture, which will spell the end of the CA Elitist Attitude and the Obama Presidency.

Democrats get people hooked on getting free stuff from the government, and have no problem driving California, and any other state’s economy further into the abyss, only to further their own political careers.

The state budget shortfall in California has increased dramatically in the last six months, forcing state officials to assemble a series of new spending cuts that are likely to mean further reductions to schools, health care and other social programs already battered by nearly five years of budget retrenchment, state officials announced on Saturday.

Gov. Jerry Brown, disclosing the development in a video posted on YouTube, said that California’s shortfall was now projected to be $16 billion, up from $9.2 billion in January. Mr. Brown said that he would propose a revised budget on Monday to deal with it.

“We are now facing a $16 billion hole, not the $9 billion we thought in January,” Mr. Brown said. “This means we will have to go much further and make cuts far greater than I asked for at the beginning of the year.”

Mr. Brown disclosed the news in a video that had all the trappings of a campaign announcement. In it, he aggressively accounted for the steps he said he had taken to try to scale back a $26 billion deficit he found upon taking office. And he urged viewers to back an initiative he is putting on the November ballot that would increase sales taxes by 0.25 percent and impose an income tax surcharge on wealthy Californians to try to stave off more cuts.

State officials said Mr. Brown’s proposal would include a package of immediate cuts, as well as others that would be triggered only if voters failed to approve his tax plan. The sales tax increase would expire after four years, while the income tax surcharge would last for seven years.

State officials said the shortfall was a result of disappointing revenue collections in April as California continued to struggle to pull out of the recession. “We are still recovering from the worst recession since the 1930s,” Mr. Brown said.

Still, the state controller reported that the state had exceeded spending by $2.1 billion as well, though Mr. Brown said court rulings and other actions that restricted California from making the cuts were at least partly to blame.

At the same time, the deficit projections — which have been increasing since Mr. Brown and the Democratic-controlled Legislature approved a budget last summer — suggest that the state may have been overly optimistic in estimating what kind of revenue it would take in. That has been a repeated problem in Sacramento as officials have struggled over the past five years with the state’s worst financial crisis since the Depression. Mr. Brown, in taking office last year, pledged to end what he said were the tricks lawmakers regularly used to paper over budget shortfalls.

President Obama’s deportation-dodging uncle can legally walk into a Registry of Motor Vehicles office tomorrow and walk out with a driver’s license — even though he isn’t here legally — 45 days after copping a plea in the drunken-driving bust that exposed him as a 20-year fugitive from federal immigration authorities.

Onyango Obama, 67, has completed the month-and-a-half suspension a judge slapped on him in late March, when he admitted that Framingham cops had enough evidence to convict him for an OUI bust in August.

The news renewed outrage over the RMV’s treatment of the case — especially among Republican lawmakers who demanded answers last month, when Obama scored a special license that allowed him to drive to his job as a liquor store manager.

“How could someone who’s in the country not legally, who’s been the subject of a deportation order for several years, how could he be eligible to receive a license from the commonwealth?” said Senate Minority Leader Bruce Tarr (R-Gloucester). “If they’re preparing to give him a license, the Registry has a lot of explaining to do to the people who play by the rules and are here legally.”

Registrar Rachel Kaprielian was unavailable for comment yesterday. She has said her agency requires Social Security numbers — Obama has had one of those since at least the early 1990s — but does not check applicants’ immigration status.

“They’re suffering from conscious myopia,” said Tarr, one of several GOP leaders pushing the registry to include immigration status in the license-application process. “They’re looking narrowly at things and not at the broader reality that this individual might not be here legally.”

But immigration lawyer Desmond FitzGerald said requiring Social Security numbers can at times be too harsh a restriction — as when it keeps licenses out of the hands of international doctors and scientists who live here temporarily.

“It will prevent their families from being able to function in our community. And we want to encourage that,” he said.

Obama is a Kenyan national who has been living in the United States since 1963.

A judge ordered him deported in 1992 after what Obama’s lawyer said was an unknowing failure to renew his visa. He has had a Massachusetts driver’s license since at least the early 1990s, said RMV spokeswoman Sara Lavoied. She declined to comment on the registry’s issuing of a license to a known illegal.

Obama’s sister, the president’s Aunt Zeituni Onyango, who won asylum in a controversial 2010 case, does not have a license but holds a state-issued ID, Lavoie said.

Remove illegal immigrants – Make them follow the law to enter our country legally, or send them all back home.

You have to wonder about the very suspicious timing of this non-story. The older sister of Mitt Romney’s former high school classmate said she has no knowledge of any bullying incident involving her brother and the GOP presidential candidate.

Christine Lauber of South Bend, Ind., had not seen the Washington Post’s story that described an incident when Mitt Romney bullied her brother, but said she was aware of the story. The incident centered around Romney allegedly holding the scissors to help cut the hair of John Lauber, who was presumed to be gay and who had long hair.

Romney’s former classmate, Phillip Maxwell, now a lawyer, described witnessing the incident and said he considered the “prank” the two pulled at Michigan’s Cranbrook School to be “assault and battery.”

Maxwell said he held the boy’s arm and leg, describing himself and his friends as a “pack of dogs.”

Christine Lauber, who is a few years older than John Lauber, was at college when the alleged incident happened, and said the brother and sister were “doing our own thing” at the time.

When ABC News showed her the story, Christine Lauber’s eyes welled up with tears and she became agitated.

She also corrected the story, saying her brother was a boarder, not a day student.

She described her brother as a “very unusual person.”

“He didn’t care about running with the peer group,” Christine Lauber said. “What’s wrong with that?”

Betsy Lauber, one of John Lauber’s three sisters, spoke with ABC News Tuesday night regarding the accuracy of the story.

“The family of John Lauber is releasing a statement saying the portrayal of John is factually incorrect and we are aggrieved that he would be used to further a political agenda. There will be no more comments from the family,” she said.

Romney has since apologized for what he said were “pranks” in high school but has said he doesn’t remember the specific event.

Romney said “homosexuality was the furthest thing from his mind” when it came to the jokes he played on classmates.

“Even if it did happen, John probably wouldn’t have said anything,” Christine Lauber said.

She added she and her sisters will likely put out a statement later via a family attorney.

“If he were still alive today, he would be furious [about the story],” she said with tears in her eyes.

The Washington Post contacted and quoted both Christine and Betsy Lauber in their original story.

John Lauber died of liver cancer in 2004, according to the Washington Post.
