Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg Senate Testimony Not Under Oath Is Completely Useless Waste of Time

The testimony of Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg before the Senate Judiciary and Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation committees is a completely useless waste of time because Zuckerberg is free to lie without consequence to cover-up the actions of Facebook, and we feel that he has taken full advantage of that opening to freely lie to congress.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg Senate Testimony Not Under Oath Is Completely Useless Waste of Time

If there is nothing to hide, and if congress actually wanted to get real answers, then why wasn’t Zuckerberg put under oath before testifying before congress?

Could it be due to the fact that some of the senators asking Zuckerberg questions were the recipients of large donations from Facebook or own Facebook stock?

Many of the congressmen and congresswomen asking Mark Zuckerberg questions were basically cheerleaders for Facebook, talking up Facebook and telling stories about how they and their families love and use Facebook, asking friendly softball questions, and then allowing Zuckerberg to ramble on and on, taking up all of the time available for asking additional real questions.

Mark Zuckerberg was definitely lying out his asshole when answering questions about Facebook’s all-out attack on conservatives when he claimed that Facebook did not suppress or censor conservatives.

Former Facebook employees have even confirmed that Facebook absolutely has an anti-conservative bias that negatively affects conservative users and content.

“workers prevented stories about the right-wing CPAC gathering, Mitt Romney, Rand Paul, and other conservative topics from appearing in the highly-influential section, even though they were organically trending among the site’s users. Depending on who was on shift, things would be blacklisted or trending,” the former curator continued. “I believe it had a chilling effect on conservative news.” – Former Facebook Developer

In February Facebook launched a new algorithm to ensure that conservative news would not spread on the social media platform. The algorithm change caused President Donald Trump’s engagement on Facebook posts to plummet a whopping 45%. In contrast, Senators Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and Bernie Sanders (I-VT) do not appear to have suffered a comparable decline in Facebook engagement. Top conservative Facebook pages with daily traffic in the millions have seen 75% to 95% drop in traffic. Young Cons, Western Journalism, SarahPalin.com, Independent Journal Review, Right Wing News, and several others have seen dramatic loss in traffic.

Facebook even has a large number of ex-Obama and ex-Hillary staffers in senior positions inside the company.

Zuckerberg blamed the large amount of data that Facebook deals for the attack on and censorship of conservatives, but we all know that answer is complete bullshit. Facebook systematically hates conservatives and does everything they can to hide or ban conservative voices.

Zuckerberg continued claiming that Facebook has had privacy controls in place for years, but front-end privacy controls has nothing to do with the storage and use of the huge amount of back-end data that Facebook harvests from their users. Some of which we know about but there is still a lot that is unknown about the way that Facebook invades the privacy of their users without their knowledge or consent.

Zuckerberg kept going back to the ability for Facebook users to decide who to share their information with when they post something to Facebook, but that makes absolutely no difference to the way that the back-end data is used and abused. This is just a nice-sounding answer that makes people feel good, and wastes the limited time of the person asking the questions.

There are actually many questions that I feel Mark Zuckerberg did not answered truthfully.

Questions about Facebook’s use of device microphones to gain additional information about their users. Questions about how Facebook user data was disseminated. Questions about Facebook’s responses to user data insecurity. Questions about notifying Facebook users about the misuse of their personal / private data.

Mark Zuckerberg was almost definitely lying to Kamala Harris when she asked him if he was involved in a decision not to inform the users of Facebook about the breach of personal & private user information. You could even see a change in Zuckerberg’s demeanor, with a lot more swallowing, and nervous looks.

There needs to be more hearings with Mark Zuckerberg under oath, so we are more likely to get real truthful answers from the Facebook CEO, who is obviously trying to do damage control and skew his answers to protect himself, his company and his bank account in his current testimony.
